So... quitters

I got the game way back when it first released. Didn't do much for me, put it down.

Came back recently and am enjoying it except... everyone DCs. Like... everyone.

I've had maybe 4 games without a DC. And that's optimistic. The second I see a survivor, they quit. The second I swing at one, quit, usually along with someone they queued with. Most games end with 2-3 DCs on the screen.

I can't even play the game. Doesn't matter what killer I play. People chain DC non-stop every single match. I just got out of a match where the survivors were all alive and had 3 gens. They all quit together at the same instant.

I'm sure it's a lower level thing, since when watching people stream I almost never see it, but the game for me in nearly unplayable because every match ends in like 2 minutes. I can't get any BP or do anything. The "bonus" for people DCing is basically nothing compared to not being able to progress any category since there is like 1-2 people running around at best.

I mean it's double BP right now, bring people in to the game, and... it's just people chain DCing the second you start chasing them or hook them once.

I'm new here so maybe this is something the Devs have a plan for, but as a new person all I think is that this game is pointless and will be dead soon since this is apparently the game experience. Start a game, play for 2 minutes, 2-3 people DC once they get spotted, game ends. It makes the team and game look bad to be honest.

Huge props to the people that keep playing even after everyone else quits. I wish there were more people like you out there. It's not like I'm playing try-hard by any means, I'm usually fumbling around as Killer to try to make fun for other people, but apparently fun for many is clicking on a gen without ever seeing the Killer and then teabagging at the door like it was a big deal.

don't feel bad when you get teabagged by people you didn't even see all game

they're proud of holding m1 on generators and leaving and that's their issue

Unfortunately, the official stance the devs have taken on this issue is "We'll deal with it later" even though it's pretty much the number one priority for the majority of the playerbase.

Just had another triple DC at the same instant. Last person flailed around for 30 seconds and then left.

And the teabagging doesn't bother me much. If they stayed hidden more power to them (though it's usually a 4 man group of veterans against me on some level 1 Killer). I'd take the teabagging over not getting to play the game.
