Remove Evil Incarnate Steam Achievement?

I know it's kind of dumb, but I'm trying to get all the Steam achievements in this game since I've been playing it for so long. That being said, let's discuss Evil Incarnate: "Kill all 4 survivors with the TIER III Evil Within."

This is one of those achievements that demands you to play a certain way in which is not fun for you or the survivors you're going up against. And after a week of trying to complete this, I will get very close until the last person simply hides in a locker just so I can't get the achievement (logically because why let the "abuser continue to abuse"). With end game collapse being released, it's even harder to get that last person.

In my opinion, it would be best if this was removed from the game so people like me wouldn't continue to hate doing what I'm doing. Feel free to offer your own thoughts.

For reference, the build I'm trying to get the achievement with is Add-Ons: Judith's Tombstone and J. Myers Memorial and Perks: Hex Ruin, Monitor and Abuse, Play With Your Food, and BBQ and Chili.

I found Brutal strength was good as a 4th for dealing with the number of pallets you'll need to eat through...

It's certainly more challenging with the new Endgame!

I think the only problem with this is that, like OP said, people jump into lockers to avoid being moried. This is kinda like how alot of times, people perfer to hide and bleed out rather than allow themselves to get hooked. The mentality of denying your "enemy" BP, BBQ stacks, or in this case...an achievement... isnt uncommon.

Afew weeks ago, I had a case where the last survivor kept running to the edge of the map to deny me a hook. They were no longer trying to escape or anything, and I wasnt able to carry them far enough to get to a hook. After about 4 tries, with them wiggling off, running back to the same spot, and waiting for me to redown them...I finally just had to let them bleed out. Of course, the survivor didnt get anything extra out of this, rather they took up their own time but... They denied me a 4k on the devout emblem along with some BPs.

The add-ons to use are the two ultra-rares: Judith's Tombstone and Fragrant Tuft of Hair. I used Ruin, Whispers, and Play With Your Food. (My fourth perk was Dying Light, to try to slow the game down even more, but it didn't actually help me. A better fourth perk would be Monitor and Abuse, but I don't have it on Myers, yet.) I never hooked anyone; I only stalked until I reached EW3, then I started killing.

I achieved Evil Incarnate on The Game map. Seems like a good map for it, because there's half the normal area where the hatch can spawn, making it easier to find it and close it to start the End Game Collapse. If you have Whispers, then you should be able to find the survivor at whichever Exit Gate they choose and kill them before they open it.

This is a really good tip, I used ToTH to give ruin extra protection but dying light would also be a great idea if you can get the obsession first, I don’t think it should be removed though because people are still getting it even now with the EGC and a lot of people who did work hard to get the achievement don’t deserve to have it revoked just because it’s difficult. It’s 100% best to do it with the two ultra rares as it’s basically impossible to get it with tombstone piece or Judith’s alone due to tier 3 revoke and stalk required etc. I’ve tried tombstones, a lot, previously, kinda ashamed of that. But at least I know how they work and their requirements.

I actually did hook people because I wanted to act like it was a normal game, I hooked at least 2. Definitely risky but it paid off. I got mine on Springwood though but I did not choose the map. I got it back when I had to patrol the hatch and hatch grabs were bugged so I’d say the above persons strategy for EGC is a good idea. M&A is a bit of a waste of a slot on this trophy, anything that stalls gens (ruin, dying light, ToTH/protect ruin and makes them think you have NOED so they waste time cleansing) and helps locate survivors (discordance, whispers etc) is more useful.

It’s difficult but it’s one of the only trophies I actually feel is worth being proud of having (personally). Because it is difficult and basically requires the stars to align in a perfect match to get it.

It's possible to get it without tuft of hair. I used Judith's Tombstone with J. Myers Memorial without Play with your food and got all 4 somehow. I got the achievement like 4 times now

I got the Achievement with both pink Add-Ons. But I had one person not looking at all, and another Person who WANTED to be stalked. He saw me and just sit in front of me to get stalked.

He was not really helping his team with that..

I know that it can be frustrating, but it's one of the very few achievements that's actually interesting. SO MANY OF THEM are just "do X mundane thing Y amount of times." There's no achievement in that, only grind.

Tombstoning every single survivor in a match is actually a huge accomplishment and having an achievement to show you did it is awesome.

Yeah, you're gonna have to deal with people trying to deny it to you, but eventually you'll achieve it, and it's more meaningful than almost every other achievement.

homestly, the nurse achievement where you need to combine 3 or more blinks and then pull someone off of something is A LOT harder to achieve (and therefore more frustrating)

i personally dont really mind the achievement. its a real challenge, like achievements should be.

If you don't do it already, burn an offering for either The Game or Lehry's to have a better chance of pulling it off.
