Allow Amanda to Crouch grab
Allow her to Crouch grab just like ghostface.
As a survivor if you were allowed pig to get that close to you you kinda deserve to be pulled off.

I'm aware. But Spirit has the limitation of a duration. The pig can just crouch whenever. Would make her too strong with Amanda's Letter, or on maps like Léry's.

Only if it excludes hook grabs.
Aside from that, I think allowing gen/vault/pallet/locker grabs would be fine on Amanda.

I think she is fine as she is regarding grabs. Just standing up and grabbing works in most cases. Only very few survivors are alert enough to hear the blade, especially if the generator they are working on is loud enough.

The difference is spirit is invisible.
Meaning it doesn't matter what map you're on a good spirit can still effectively get grabs.
Amanda however is not a survivor should not have Amanda get that close unless they are out right just staring at the generator.
If a killer needs to be on a specific map with specific add-ons for it to be powerful I think you're overestimating how strong it would be.

You can start her Spirit Walk outside of the TR and still get a grab relatively reliably.
God forbid you need to use the one thing no one uses to keep Pig off of you: your eyes.

Way to OP, Pig is fine the way she is. She has a built-in Ruin with reverse bear traps, built-in insidious (mobile even) while crouched...as a killer main, trust me, she needs no more buffs.

Why do people have a problem with crouch grabbing Pig? She is not invisible, she only has no terror radius. It would be the same like Tier-1-Michael using Monitor & Abuse or any killer using Tinkerer.

Ruin affects everybody and persists as long as the totem is around which isn't shown to the survivors unlike the reverse bear traps which are single target and are actually incredibly easy to get off unless the pig pressures it. They're not really comparable.
Her crouch makes her move slower than nurse and any survivor with a good pair of headphones similar with Michael can't hear her very audible breathing. When going up against Michael and Amanda learning how to recognise and lock onto their breathing is a very key way of countering their stealth.

If you aren't looking over your shoulder when you know there is a pig in game, you deserve the shank you are about to get, don't rely on hearing that roar first. I like this idea, it certainly makes up for the fact that survivors can now just skip on out of the bloody exit gates with a trap on their head!

I would love this, actually makes sense since she's suppose to be stealthy. She has heavy breathing and you can run detection perks like spine chill if it's bothersome, like it's not really a buff but something that should have always been there. I would also love them to address that roar as well, but I could settle for this.

I could see the change now..
- Pig can now grab survivors off generators while crouched.
- Makes loud oinking noises within 8 meters of survivors.

You’re absolutely right, they are not comparable...traps are sooo much better. It takes about 15 seconds to cleanse Ruin(don’t know exact time), I bet it’ll take a survivor at least 1 minute to get the trap off, sure it won’t stop gens being popped, but that’s 1 guy not progressing gens (typically).

I do not agree to traps being so much better mainly because as I've stated before and as you stated just now it doesn't stop the generators from being completed.
Hell if a survivor is ballsy enough which I've done and seen done as the killer multiple times you can complete a generator with a reverse bear trap and then just deal that whilst is active.
Also the survivor get no indication as to where the ruin totem is the game outright tells you where the jigsaw boxes are and unless you're using ruleset number to there is no way you can hide that information from the survivor as blindness doesn't affect the boxes. Not to mention the RNG Factor and the fact you're limited to 4 or 5 at the most
In fact both Doctor's Madness and Legion's deep wounds are a lot more consistent time wasters than Amanda's reverse bear traps

On the one hand, there is a sort of precedence for this with the Shape at EWI. On the other hand, the Shape has a fluorescent mask that makes him very visible, whereas the Pig actually becomes somewhat stealthy when crouched. I'd say put this in a PTB and see how it goes.

Totally agree there, but my opinion still stands. IMO, The Pig is a towards the top of the mid-tier killers, adding this buff just seems excessive. There’d have to be a counterpart...like if you allow crouch grabs, get rid of the ambush attack.

If I'm being honest, I'd rather have Amanda's ambush attack be buffed rather than have her gain the ability to grab someone without having to uncrouch.
No way. I may not be fond of Ruin, but I would never think the traps are better at slowing down Survivors than Ruin. With the traps, I need to hope that I can end a chase quickly just to have one person temporarily slowed from doing gens whereas Ruin slows everyone down from the very start. You say that Ruin can get cleansed in 15 seconds, but I can say the same thing about getting a Trap off.
As I've always said before, I believe her Ambush is weak, her Traps are too inconsistent, and she's probably one of the weaker characters in the game IMO. That being said, I'd want to see the weak part of her crouch ability (the Ambush attack) be made better, not just ignored more in favor of grabbing.

Ruin is still great, I been playing 5 months and I’ll hit 9 out of 10 hex checks, I’m just saying the traps serve as a built-in, watered down Ruin. They’re not designed to kill, but I’ve gotten many kills with them BECAUSE people stillborn do gens...what else they supposedly to do?

Considering this killer has many stealth-killing audio pieces. (Rawr for Ambush or Knife Release for standing up) Generator Pulls could give the killer early game hooks which does buff her. Considering they ruined her end-game potential.

You just said, and I quote, "traps are sooo much better." Which is it? Are they better than Ruin, or are they a watered-down Ruin?
Also, I've also gotten many kills with the traps myself, but that does not make me think that they are reliable as time wasters. It actually is possible for them to do a gen, activate their trap in the process, and then go focus on getting the trap off. It's not much different from having a gen popped while a trapped Survivor is on the hook.

Comparing Spirit with prayerbeads to a Pig is silly...since...you know...you can SEE the Pig. Even if theyre able to hide all the way to the doorway of whatever room/jungle gym your generator is at, theres still the time she has to travel from the doorway to the survivor, which is time for the survivor to see the Pig and react.
