Hag is a salt factory

So i just played a game of hag on the game and its insane how hag can generate so much salt at the end game i ended up getting a 3k the other one just booked it out the gate but whats funny is there was a situation where i trapped a hook and this nea would run and break my trap i would hit her she would run over after i replaced my trap and break it and i ended up "camping" the guy on hook.

The nea would after game call me a camper in which i replied have you ever played a game of hag in your entire time in dbd they didnt reply but the rest of the team would go on insulting me calling me a camper and some other not so nice things.

My point is Hag is by far the killer ive got the most salt on and i dont even main her i dont even think im that great of a Hag Player but its crazy i dont even get this much salt on Hillbilly.

This honestly is kinda why I love Hag. I take it a step further though. I bring Ruin, Iron Grasp(I don't have Agitation on her yet), NOED, and Thrill of the Hunt. When they keep trying to break my Ruin or Thrill I generally get one of them, take them as close as I can or to the Basement. If I can't throw them in the basement, then they're at least close. I'll eventually get one in the basement, trap the stairs all up and down it, and get them as they go in. I've gotten 4ks just off their altruistic attempts. One game I got a 3k, I left the 4th on the ground because someone activated my basement traps, they were clearly a SWF because they were meeting up, healing each other, and coming back for more. I got them all in the basement, looked for the other/looked for the hatch. I closed the hatch and she had Adrenaline so she got off the hook because the doors were far from each other, and Hag's slow, but it's just so fun watching them go into the basement one after the other trying to get people off hooks. I live for the salty comments afterwards.

I find her fun to play against (I know others who disagree like those people you mentioned). Especially when she has thrill, because I'm that person that will draw her attention and try for it. Once I see a hag and people in basement, I'm like 'gg' and stay away. Unless I've been playing with you, I won't try for that. I'm not dumb, I know she trapped the ######### out of that.

Yet everyone else sets off her traps, even those who watched her place them. You would think people would have learned by now, but no. -_-

Hag is thr only killer I die inside when facing her.

I don't condone dcing but I may consider doing it against hag.

She is not op or anything but she counters my full sprinting plsystyle and I don't wish to change it.

She, alongside doc, does a thing that drives me bananas when hijacking my camera while triggering a trap.

If I am facing a good hag, I'll just die on the hook ASAP and go to another match.

Once again, she is fine the way she is, I just don't want ti change my plays so I am overall guilty of non adapting.

Even so, if I could avoid hags I would gladly do so :)

You want a ######### tonne of salt?

    Mint Rag

Thrill of the Hunt + Ruin + Devour Hope + Haunted Grounds

    Game offering.

Yes, that is annoying. The whole triggered traps jerking my camera around. Not enough for me to salt about it even though it messes up some hook rescues when I didn't even trigger the trap. Oh, and traps bugging to trigger while still crouched. That has happened a few times. Something that's actually thrilling in this game.

I agree with you, hag's traps are so annoying and I am all for strong killers but this game mechanic is just hateful to me.

Once I was playing leatherface, it was endgame, i had a horrible game, but had someone in the basement. Happened to be passing by as they saved him, rushed down the stairs...

Let me say it was a party. 4 downs in half a second.

  • You've not seen salt until you've put 9 traps around ruin ... When they got ruin it became 10 traps around the guy on the hook 😂

For the first time last week I played a hag who was using the 'solid' traps that stop you from going through them. Very effective when placed in small alleys but the hag cant teleport so very hard to get good use from them I would imagine.

Hag can be devastating, because of her traps she can place by hooks or other sweet placed traps vs. not health survivors.

But she's #########, if you verse a good team which would just pop all traps, when you can't tp to them or just crouch in dangerous areas.

    OR FLASHLIGHTS.

Hag can be good, but most of the time in red ranks, she isn't viable.

It depends how the player is playing her. I dont have a problem losing vs a good Hag, good Hag players are simply amazing. She is probably my favourite Killer to play.

But I once had a Basement Hag as Killer. Iron Grasp, Agitation, Mad Grit, Ruin. And Basement vs Hag is basically the end of the game, especially if this Hag traps the Basement with a million traps.

And well, those are the Hags I dont like - who hook someone and then put not one, not two, but all ten Traps around the Hook (or at least: A lot of Traps around the Hook). Or those who chase with Hag, will not get anyone because she is slow AF, but then get their Kills with NOED.

Any killer generates salt if you don't play following the survivor mains rulebook: you must make the match enjoyable for everyone, except yourself of course

Many survivors don't know how to fight hag. They keep running after they get unhooked, newbs.

People ask me that after games when hardly anything was brought in or nothing sometimes. Usually the response is "I sure knocked a lot of stuff out your hands". They reply with "chests" and I reply with "exactly". I only use it as a constant on Spirit though but it's an good all around perk.

Ill bring Franklins only if I see multiple med-kits. Cos rightly or wrongly I'm working on the assumption that they are substitutes for self care. If that's the case its worth a perk slot.

My ninja hag build always riles up the survivors. I basically insideous in plain sight by a gen I damage and charge at whoever comes to me next.

Depending on how sweaty the survivors are I sometimes insideous in plain sight near the hooked survivor. Still a fair distance away.

I just get pissed off because it always seems to be a hag when I take off urban evasion but never a hag when I use it.

As previously said I mostly play killer but with Franklin and hag I would have dced as well.

Franklin is like saying screw you to the opposite team, no no npo

You're probably knocking brown and yellow items without add ons out of their hands. Not worth it 90% of the time.

Hag is the ultimate solo destroyer outside of Nurse. A coordinated team will pop her traps in unison and generally make her inefficient. I've noticed that she really needs a tactical shift against SWF, and I haven't quite figured it out yet.

I hate hags as well, she's the reason I run Urban Evasion on the survivor i used most.

The few times I play her though, she get some rather large amounts of salt. Two situations that stand out are

    • I run Devour Hope on her - and I had a team so determined to take that totem out they got nothing done until I eventually destroyed them. Was called out for "Camping my totem". Co'mon folks, seriously? You aren't doing gens, why the ######### should I leave?
    • Had a game get down to the wire, two people were still alive when the gates opened. Managed to down them both. Got one to the hook then picked up the other one inches from making it out the the open gate and hooked her as well. The amount of entitled screaming I got for being a try-hard from that was pathetic.

Do you know Space Coconut? There's a video in his channel about it lol he was playing normally with Hag and survivors saying that he os toxic, slug master, lame build and complaining about the traps

I mean, If I play with Hag of course I'm going to use my traps, what's the point for not using? Lol

As a hag player I rarely camp because with MYC there's no need and trap management is more important. After I kill people I either get 3 types of messages; heavy salt by a trash player who only knows how to loop at God spots where I lay my traps and t bags, the occasional person who complements my trap placement and non toxic gameplay, or that one guy who says he died by bad connection and blames his team when 90% of the time he just sucks at 360's and dealing with trapped areas.

"I refuse to adapt my playstyle, I'd rather DC".

This mindset is the toxic ######### that needs to end.

I get your sentiment, but really? DC because you wont adapt? THIS is why DCs are a problem and everyone wants a free escape/4k.
