The Most Loved and Hated Killer (Survey Results)
Last week, I posted a survey to know which killers are the most hated and the most loved. The survey got 772 responses.
The survey asked which killer you love and hate to play as and against.
The killer which has gotten the votes of the most loved is:
Michael Myers
Michael Myers (The Shape) got in total 212 votes as the most loved killer to play against, and 110 votes as the most loved killer to play as. Second place goes to Amanda Young (The Pig), with 82 votes to play as and 89 votes to play against. Third place goes to the spirit, with 126 votes to play as and 40 votes to play against. The votes as most hated killer do interfere here, and will be avaliable at the end.
The killer which has gotten the votes of the most hated is:
The Nurse
Sally Smithson got in total 132 votes as the most hated to play as, and 133 votes as most hated to play against. Second place goes to Leatherface (The Cannibal), with 93 votes to play as and 60 votes to play against. Third Place goes to The Hag, with 65 votes to play as and 64 to play against.
The score
The score is what decides which killers are the most loved and most hated. It is calculated as the following:
Enjoy to play as + Enjoy to play against - Hate to play as - Hate to play against
- The Shape (110+212-8-14 = 300)
- The Pig (82+89-27-18 = 126)
- The Spirit (126+40-16-58 = 92)
- The Huntress (52+85-45-16 = 75)
- The Wraith (43+28-43-20 = 8)
- The Trapper (39+42-46-31 = 4)
- The Clown (23+21-38-31 = -25)
- The Plague (15+16-34-24 = -27)
- The Legion (60+21-49-61 = -29)
- The Hillbilly (59+55-56-93 = -35)
- The Doctor (32+20-34-76 = -58)
- The Nightmare (29+16-57-50 = -62)
- The Hag (47+17-65-64 = -65)
- The Cannibal (15+27-93-60 = -111)
- The Nurse (17+55-132-133 = -193)
Michael Myers is the most loved killer to play against, while The Spirit is the most loved killer to play as. The Nurse is hated in both.

I swear around a year ago I saw a Mcgonagall meme with exactly those 3 killers where the context was killers causing survivors to DC. But I can't find it anymore.

Last time I did this it was Legion, Nurse and Doctor. So just pre-change legion taking up the throne

Basically because those ones are killers that have higher mobility and/ or stop looping, which survivors really hate. The reason for nurse being hated to play as is probably because she is able to constantly stun herself

I think it's more because of nurse being straight up broken and Hillbilly being every other game

@TimeyWimey it's not because she counters looping, it's her addons. All 3 of the killer have some of the most tedious to face addons in the game. I personally like playing against her, but then again, I run Spine chill which lets me juke her a lot easier.
And she's the most hated to play because she's boring as hell. No clue what you're on about. Everyone finds her rather boring.

Very glad to see Michael Myers as the most loved to play against. I think he's tremendous fun, and the most creepy killer in the game.
Surprised the Pig got second place. I don't enjoy facing her at all.

How is nurse broken? I get add-ons make her broken, but add-ons make everyone broken. Every time she uses her teleport she stuns herself and she almost runs slower than a survivors sprint

(Accidentally quoted this two times) like I said in another comment, add-ons make everyone broken even survivors. And sure she gets boring at times, but she literally disables herself after using her ability, which no other killer besides legion does. She does counter looping for the most part, being able to travel through walls kind of makes looping impossible.

Difference is, against a good nurse, even without addons, there is no escape. And does her speed really matters? Most of the time she is just going around at 333% speed anyways.
