Eh... it would only be good for newbies. It should be something like track down one or a few certain items indefinitely like a map, but only certain stuff, like exit gates, hatches, generators, etc.

With a few maps, I use moon to track the direction.
Some map has recognizable things like buildings, bulldozer ect, easy to note the direction too.
Lery/Saw, and the only morning time map with a big wood house in the middle is hard to know the direction.

Wish moon offerings were still a thing. They really helped with certain maps with what I have seen in old Dead by daylight videos.

I just checked what Moon offer is, has a 2016 vid, I watched and surprised how scarier the atmosphere was than today.

The maps have either landmarks or patterns. Maps like Coldwind, Springwood, and the asylum maps are landmark maps. Maps like Haddonfield, The Game and to an extent Lery's are pattern maps

What if there is a survivor Perk: Compass
Showing the direction of the camera player facing. Able to set 0/1/2 mark (like map item) on the map that only that player able to see.
