can we give some extra effect to WGLF already?

Like revealing the aura of the killer for a few seconds to your teammate and you after unhooking or something? I'm tired of it just being a BP boost.

All I want is stacks for healing others. Maybe a five second aura read after unhooking someone?

I believe it should have another effect, perhaps after performing a safe hook rescue, receive a 2/3/4% increase to action speed for 40-60 seconds or something. It’s so good for the BP but always makes me wonder if it’s worth it when I have other perks that would have helped more.

and it’s not as if it would be “too OP” to have BP and a buff - look at BBQ & Chilli, an amazing aura reading perk ALSO gives stackable 25% bloodpoints per hook.

Or perhaps a token based system, per safe hook rescue gain a token (plus 25% BP).

1-4 can be anything, aura, haste, action speed buff etc.

if you have 4, the next time you rescue someone from the hook, the killer receives no notification.

I think the intent of the perk was/is to get survivors to run a useless perk for BP.

BBQ isn't useless aside from the BP more of a result of several changes due to the meta than actual intent lol. It was originally a perk that only gave bonus BP for actions performed while the survivor was still hooked. There was a dual nerf of WGLF and buff of BBQ & Chili to intentionally make killer more rewarding for BP again later down the line.

    It’s a BP perk

I would like to hear the opinions of the people who is downvoting. Why you don't want an extra effect in a exclusively BP boost perk? In my opinion all perks should give some type of advantage or affect you or your allies in some way.

I stopped using it, at lower and mind ranks every hook is a race to see who gets the stack so no one is doing no gens. I just use a fourth “good,” perk and hope surviving longer and doing more earns me more BP

Every time WGLF becomes popular the survivor meta becomes complete cancer and then some. The only reason it's not super popular right now is that it only gives out BP; and it should stay that way.

This is basically why the perk used to be cancer before the nerf.

The only thing WGLF needs is easier stacking.

For the 1000th time, WGLF does not deserve a secondary effect. BBQ & Chili has one because the killer only has 4 perk slots. The survivor team has a total of 16 perk slots. This is the reality of an asymmetric multiplayer game. The individual perks of the minority (killers) should be stronger than the majority (survivors).

Killers are always strapped for perk slots. No killer in his right mind would take BBQ & Chili into the red ranks if it only provided the bloodpoint multiplier; the BP you'd lose out on only having 3 perks and not being able to win games would outweigh the BP multiplier, whereas WGLF is STILL very common even though it is only a BP multiplier.

Fair enough. Thanks for the well-argued explanation.

we need a secondary effect cause no it's just #########. a hard to stack perk that encourages to go for saves you shouldn't do. make this perk interesting

Personally I don't need a secondary effect on WGLF, I just want the 200% back that we had when the perk first came out. Survivors often get less BP's as a killer so it wouldnt hurt.

It got removed because survivors weren’t playing the game.
