I knew Ghost Face would still get nerfs.
Gets knocked out of stealth from pallets, detection range increased for survivors to break him out easier and weakened his add-ons. It'll just be added LATER like the post said. Well, he's still getting nerfed. He's OP, boys. Get ready for the bullying at Red Ranks.

I wonder how many people actually read past the patch notes on here? At the VERY bottom, it mentions the nerfs that he's getting in the upcoming week. Just so they get everyone happy for that money before nerfing him to Freddy status.

You guys are really going to have a fit about those small tweaks? Barely considered nerfs considering people are having a hard time breaking him out of stealth in CHASES which is not how his power is supposed to work.

I'm not sure where the detection range bit is coming from, but that is not changing. The detection area is something completely different. This is the part of the screen that Ghost Face needs to be within for the reveal to begin (after the buffer, of course). This is being increased by about 8% (4% in either direction). It won't make him easier to reveal, but it will make it a little easier to keep him within that zone while being chased.

No. We are just not going to play him because he isn’t good enough to use at red ranks. The entire chain is making fun of the meta not being affected.

The big nerf is the bug fix where he can’t stalk marked survivors.

@Peanits I'm usually supportive but Ghost Face doesn't need nerfs. Everyone cries about Billy, Spirit and Nurse but you make another killer, an M1 joke.

@Peanits Also, 8% pov is still horrible since it's a 3rd person view against a second and half reveal. It's stupid. 30 second power activation after a slap. Just a m1 killer. There is a reason no one cleanses themselves from plague. She's easy to loop while broken. These are big.

I don't want to be bias or anything, but I think those changes will really make ghost face suffer. Personally, I've had no trouble breaking him out stealth. I know it's early days for ghost face, but I think survivors will become a lot better playing against him over time and he will be a very gimmick killer in 1 month time that will struggle to get any use out of his power in my opinion.

How can it be reasonable when he JUST came out? You can't make full judgement until people have play as and against him fully in different ranks to change him. That takes time.

It's 8% in total which is alot.
Basically we got fcked over again with a new killer.
- You release a killer on the beta that everyone agrees was crap.
- You buff said killer to perform better on the PTB due to overwhelming negative reaction.
- You then make a poll asking your player base if they're satisfied with the changes which they are.
- Then all of a sudden you nerf him, despite over 80% of your community liking the buffs to him.
Nuff said.

@Peanits I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong. The 8% is definitely needed but at least take away the turbine wind sound altogether and put his cooldown back to 20 seconds. It takes FOREVER to get it back when someone sees you. Then reduce his power recovery add-ons a little after. I wouldn't mind that. I feel like I'm just staring at a survivor for a long time before I can actually do anything but the view thing, you are definitely correct about that and I apologize for letting my feelings get in before facts could take place. Thank you for being so patient with us, Bro. Just really love Scream and it tore me apart when I heard that he was getting hit with nerfs but after playing some survivor, I do agree that staring at him sometimes does jack #########.

the 8% its just so bad why you change this when survivor that are SWF can destroy and make fun at him also with OoO but since devs only listen to survivor main what can we do 1 they will realised that the playerbase will drop down even tho its 2xBP ppl enter cuz its an event now i hope they realise what they are doing some streamers even said that the next nerf on killers will be billy nurse or spirit if they go like this and also devs wont think that ghostface needs buff not nerf yet again they dont care for the community so why posting if they dont listen to our feedback they just friend with survivor most survivor complain that ghostface its "OP" others says that survivors "are too hard" devs you should think of having someone to make good ideas or balanced the game like tru3talent or even puppers or someone those 2 knows how to balanced "youre game"

Im not saying that i dont like the new Legion, i love it but, there are some things that need to be changed.

Sucks but hardly a huge game changer for him honestly. It's still a powerful ability imo even with the changes. Hardly worth acting like he's suddenly ruined though.

Why would I buy such a weak Killer at the high ranks? That's a question BHVR should be pondering.
Do they realize, Nurse, the strongest Killer, was free? Why would I buy any other Killer? Seriously?

There were obvious issues wuith him after the second round of PTB which most people whoi care about balance noticed right away; mainly detection being bugged/abusable as a result of the buffer they introduced.

@weirdkid5 the 8% nerf is hardly the defining factor though. It's early still but GF seems to work like a slightly more powerful and consistent Myers, so I'd place him at high mid-tier. Yeah it's not nurse but it's still powerful and has some advantages that other killers don't get. People on here act like every new killer is feast or famine.

Now - I'm not saying these nerfs were needed, but you're blowing these minute changes out of proportion. You are broken out of stealth, or supposed to be, when a survivor sees you. If they stun you in any way, they have definitely seen you.
As for the detection range, honestly, it was extremely inconsistent and needed to be tweaked anyway. I've had survivors stare right at me, middle of their screen, and from a couple meters away, and not be able to break me out.
That all being said, these changes weren't really necessary. Even if Ghosty stalks you to exposed, he's still just a loopable M1 killer. He's fun to mess around with but even in his current state I don't see why I would use him over Billy at high ranks. I'm survivor rank 4 right now and I'd say the amount of times I've been in a game where Ghostface gets more than a 3k is literally 40%.
