Blendettes Mourn Here.
Today we come together to mourn the loss of our dark, blending outfits. Today they were nerfed and made lighter. We will sadly miss our clothing, let us hope and pray now to the Entity to bring them back.

Mushwin, wanted to come here to say I am happy to have recently met you through this platform, I am sorry for your loss but your loss is my gain, it's nice though that if I ever had a Blendette problem, I'd just stalk with Myers. Maybe it will give incentive to play other Survivors?

@Knuckles yes her brown and green top and brown trousers are all lighter - we can not be relied on to be stealthy and have a stealthy unhook any more lol

I run this Jake with the black slick back hair with shades, his basic leather jacket but black, the brown one for 900 shards, and the black camo pants, super stealthy.

They nerfed a whole hell of a lot more than just Claudette's stuff. I went through most of the survivors to find their most versatile stealth outfits being less stealthy than other things that didn't get touched. Even Claudette's default outfit got nerfed.
Your best bet now is the Prestige shirt, or buying the school uniform jacket + tie. The green shirt might still be decent, but it'd be bad luck to roll most of the maps while wearing it. The blue is still semi-decent.

I miss my blendette. I can't loop for #########, so I took up stealth as my way of avoiding the killer, to the point I became a ninja. RIP stealth clothes, I only had you for 4 days, but you will be missed.
Seriously, @Peanits , is there any chance I could get an iridescent shard or auric cell refund on those? I had them for 4 days for this exact purpose, only to get that taken off me, so if I'm forced to not use stealth, at least let me replace them with something flashy and that didn't look like I went diving in a sewer.

Developers wont give any refunds on anything, only because they changed things later. They even say that in their terms of service, that everything can be subject to change.

You could contact support, but I can't guarantee that they'll be able to provide a refund for that.
Though on a personal note, as someone who used to play stealthy all the time, that's not stealth. Stealth is about not being seen, not being seen and hoping they don't see you because your clothes are dark enough. I'd recommend breaking LOS and using sharp corners to throw them off momentarily, possibly throwing Q&Q into the mix.

I would agree in the event of non-injured survivors. Good killers, when not contesting generators, will be able to follow sounds and blood when a survivor is injured to the point where the only thing left to do is loop.
Clothes should certainly not be a "let's sit here for a while in front of the killer and hope I'm not seen." They should be a "the colors will blend in momentarily and allow me to slip around a corner unnoticed." Of course, bright outfits not being included. However, the luster and sheen on every character is so much greater than that on the environment that slipping around LOS blockers unnoticed is essentially not possible. The only exceptions are the fire barrels. Those are true, mid-chase stealth mechanics.

The dev's have no right to nerf clothing that we bought. If it was an original outfit that's fine. But I didnt buy the nerf version of these clothes. The least they could do is have a refund option 🙄

It's not just Claudette. As killer I see people a LOT easier now. I've only had one time that I can remember losing someone, and then I found them after I doubled back. It was a Jake in brown clothes next to a brown fence self-caring.

well blendetes didn't work gainst me i used Nvidia to change my brightness to where blendetes where useless against me
