Again, Why Red Stun VFX? + Enduring Nerf

Multiple people have stated medical issues with the red flash, and the excuse given for something that NO ONE ASKED FOR..was well it helps differentiate between stuns, but we're keeping an eye on it. No one wanted this change, and you're causing discomfort and pain to your players. Just make it toggable, or actually for once a community manager can listen to the community. The only people who can't tell what a stun is, funny enough, is BHVR.

"...automatically escape the Killer's grasp and stun the Killer for 5 seconds." Not a stun.

"..rushed action to leave a Locker stuns the Killer for 3 seconds." Not a stun.

Yet both and pallet "STUNS" do the red flash, but Enduring got nerfed so you could address the numbers. Which we know you won't. DS will stay 5s, Head On will stay 3, and down the line we'll get some new stun that pisses everyone off. It'll inevitably be buffed as well cuz, "x seconds wasn't enough time to get away." Nerfed Pig/Remember Me to compensate for EGC but can't touch DS when you nerf Enduring? Okay, BHVR.

I don't understand why BHVR keeps trying to lie to us and say they listen when clearly you don't. Grabs have been bugged for months, (nice grab achieve btw, very cool), DS is bugged, Entity Blocking has been bugged. All these major game breaking bugs yet they never get fixed. I don't get it. Now you've added things that people don't need, and hurt people, despite them begging you to not do it.

    They listen just not to the killer main community like you who want GG EZ 4K's.

    I may not have an amazing number of hrs, but 750 is enough for me to unfortunately realize you are right.

    That's about right. Back when I started people generally agreed around 300~ with play on both sides was enough to start to understand the game. Either way, if someone is right they're right regardless of hours.

    Dude, chill. They're trying something new and recording the results. They'll make adjustments if there's enough data to support it. Just wait. Bring it up to the devs during the live stream on Thursday.

    There was multiple threads stating they didn't like any of these changes. Especially the red vfx. I am chill, the devs don't listen. Even if I did bring it up Thursday they'd probably ban me from the chat or ignore me. That's kinda their thing.

    How will this "feature" relate to anything else game-wise?

    It is only an annoyance to most players, and a serious issue for some who suffer from migraine.

    They already have all the data needed to act, absolutely ZERO people asked for this to be added.

    I personally don't mind the stun VFX. The red flash doesn't really bother me or effect me at all.

    That said, why the heck was it added?

    I mean, it's not like there is any appreciable difference between pallet stuns and DS or Head-On stuns. And besides, communicating the origin of the stun to the player through a red glow doesn't really give them any information they couldn't have gathered in another way.

    A pallet drops on you and you get stunned? Probably the pallet.

    Stunned near a locker (one you probably see or hear someone jumping out of)? Most likely Head On.

    Stunned as the Decisive Strike icon appears in the corner after you pick someone up? Gee, I wonder what caused that.

    The red VFX are at best pointless and at worst painful. They should simply be removed.
