Very long killer Queue time

Is anyone else getting this? It took almost 15mins to find a match and then they DC on the loading screen....

I like playing killer but these Queue times are hindering my ability to enjoy playing.

It's always like this on double BP events. Killers just get more BP, so more people play it.

Meanwhile survivor queues are almost instant.

A new killer got just released. Everyone will try to test him. Even survivor mains. Give it a week or two and it will be back to normal.

Or switch to survivor. "Killer getting more points" is a myth.

Not only people tend to play killer in events, a new killer was just released, with no survivor counter-part, so a lot of people are trying to play killer and the wait time is very long. Yesterday, after hearing this, I only played survivor and I was getting lobbies in less than a minute.

New killer, massive bp which is easier to get with killers and BBQ(how are people saying this isn’t true, BBQ plus bp offerings and a good match at best as survivor I get 80-100k killer gets much more than this considering a normal match before was near 80k with offerings and BBQ without double bp)... can’t say I’m surprised. My survivor matches have never been faster so it’s probably just the disparity I had the same problem trying to play killer when the bp event started, queues are super long. Hopefully it will return to normal soon.

Yeah, I want my GF achievements so I’m deranking to 15. Started at 7, I’m at 10 now, I’ve been doing this for ~2.5 hours. It’s impossible to find games at high ranks, it’s impossible to have fun at high ranks, it’s not fun only playing against GF as survivor, it’s not fun all around, so if the game won’t let me have fun, I’ll force it

It's been a while for me that it takes 10-15 minutes to find a match, and then some more to fill the lobby. I hope it gets better after the event ends.

Yup. A real pain in the bum.

    @Vancold

    Perfect match = 32k

    Double BP bonus = 32k

    4 BBQ/WGLF stacks = 32k

    2x bps = 64k

    Total= 160k

Of course, 32k as survivor could be hard, because of the survival category. So 28-29k is more realistic as survivor. But still achievable within the 150k range you pointed out.

On the other hand, getting a perfect killer match with 4 BBQ stacks is also hard, because survivors like to DC on the first occasion.

The que times are awful on Xbox too. I'm switching to survivor for now.

The big problems lies in the fact that Survivors ability to get max BP is heavily dictated by the actions of their allies and the killer. The killers points are much more independently earned and overall as long as you're playing well you get more points more consistently. Factor in survivor mains playing killer at low ranks for limited resistance and you get relatively easy games with huge BP yield compared to survivor games that have to go Exactly Right for you to get a lot.

I was forced to play Survivor as I haven't got time to wait (real world duties)...had two games...first we had an Insidious Myers and my team mates kept rescuing and getting hooked...the next time I had Root Vegetables R Us as a team, one of which was using No Mither...anyway...off in to the real world.

@Tsulan my bad I thought I quoted your "killer getting more points is a myth" comment. You're right that the max isn't higher, it's just easier to do, especially for survivor mains.

Perfect matches don't count towards average. Killers can make those figures even without 3k or 4k, but simply putting pressure and winning chases, using their power. Survivors have to flip a coin. Oh, look, a ######### team mate plus a camping killer? Too bad, your 100% offering's gonna multiply that high roll 5-6k.

Another note: on surv I have to sacrifice a perk slot because WGLF is pure #########. BBQ on the other hand is one of the strongest perk for killer.

@Vancold you mention camping killers and BBQ in the same post. Achievement unlocked!

BBQ does the same WGLF does. But gives killers a reason to leave the hook.

Not more, not less. It's something that also benefits survivors.

it would take me 10-15 to get a match as a survivor, not it is like 2 minutes. so way happy

Sigh.. Because having the knowledge *n survivors are working on a gen far away or none of them are actively working towards objectives can't influence camping at all.. /facepalm

Same problem on ps4. I'm not even loading into lobbies after 5-10 minutes as killer ######### its usually instant lobbies, After 2-3 minutes I find a lobby as survivor no problem. Did they change something in yesterday's patch? Just bought ghost face and havent seen a lobby yet been searching on and off for 45mins

Joined a lobby eventually and it was empty. Had to wait 3-4 more minutes for survivors join. This is not good BHVR fix yo sheet.

Very long queue and when i find lobby, the typical SWF toxic team tryharding because of x2 BP.

I think im going to take a break of this game because right now, the survivor its in control of the game, wich it shouldnt be.

You do know that BBQ being as good as it is also is a PLUS for Survivors, at its base intent its an ANTI-CAMP perk, it gives the Killer somewhere else to go then sit around and camp your butt. Be thankful that perk works as well as it does, and stop complaining the Killer perk is better then the survivor equivalent. Because in the end that perk helps you out too.

Can you read the other replies, pl0x? I already explained that KNOWING where the survivors are can influence camping by far. You can decide if it's worth leaving the boi on the hook, seeing 2 to 3 survivors working on a gen away from you or you can decide to do a fast patrol to catch the rescuers, because you just saw 0-1 guy working towards objectives.

Use your head while discussing about perks and game mechanics, don't read just the description, while making assumptions.

First of all my comment was in response to this portion of your post.

"Good luck getting as much with survivors each game, considering how trash is WGLF, lmao."

In which it sounded like you were directly comparing BBQ to WGLF and that BBQ was by far BETTER then WGLF. My comment was to remind you that BBQ has benefit for both sides of gameplay, where as WGLF only is a plus for Survivors

But now lets get into the point where you thought it was your job to scold me for not reading the entire thread.

First of all that is a ridiculous idea, threads can go for pages and pages, and you think I should read the entire thing to see if you changed your mind or defended your point to someone else.

If you have already defended yourself against a similar comment, then ignore any other post you see, because anyone who is reading the entire thread will already have seen your response and will note it when they get to my comment.

Or if you feel you need to respond a second time just say "I already responded to this" at which point they person will investigate your responses, or just let it drop.

If you get so easily offended by people making assumptions then make sure to fully explain your point when writing, leave no room for people making incorrect conclusions.

And I did use my head in my response to the comment , I stated exactly how I felt and explained how BBQ also helps the survivor.

That could be why you got so bent.
