Huh guess people dont expect Devour Hope anymore
Before a match ended someone dms me i was cheating/hacker. He didn't know that after letting three unhooks while i am a bit away causes dh to do the expose. So to all you people out there. Hex Devour Hope exists, dont go calling Hacks till you see the killers loadout

I love how using our perks are a "crutch" but their perks are fine. Both sides. SMH.

If thats a crutch then Noed must be a wheelchair(tho seriously dont use NOED unless you feel you absolutely have to). Its their own fault for not cleansing a hex totem. Even if it's a possible hallowed ground that hex totem can be a play of a game

I think it's impossible to get a middle ground for the totem spawns, it's always gonna be a problem.
They're always too good for the killer or too good for the survivor.
I think it's time we start to come to that realization.

Yes survivors hate when killer is rewarded for not camping. Same with BBQ or Make your choice. Anything punishing survivors for killer not camping is unfair and must be hacking or something. Killer should just leave the hook so that survivors can get the save for free while killer gets nothing out of it except lost games .

I may get attacked by this but i don't camp, or try to tunnel. I slug the recently unhooked so they can be picked up while im chasing the other one. But if my perks are cheats then wow. I muat be playing a diffrent game then i remember

I used it for the first type ever when I decided to give Hag another whirl and luckily they got my Ruin first so I was able to get all my tokens but I figured I'd stop there because that kind of luck has to be rare. Someone after the game did say something like "you think you're good using DH".

Could have been a Bug.
Had this happen to me one time where Devour Hope was not displayed and there was no information about the Exposed Status. The guy who unhooked me got downed immediatly, so I was thinking that I missed Make your Choice.
But then I went down in one Hit, while fully healed. Turns out, it was Devour without any Notification. The Totem did also not do any sound when cleansed.

Wow that's some petty salt, H:DH is one of my favourites too and if it lasted until they were exposed and you still killed them after they were notified by the exposed status then they really need to reconsider their ability as a survivor instead of going off at the killer for choosing a risk/reward perk heavily impacted by totem placement.
I've never really received salt about my builds/killer etc but I am on ps4 so I get post game chat is more likely to get it because they have to be so tilted they send a message on console but seems this might have been the case for you anyway...

Don’t sweat it, survivor mains claim any perk that makes you a more efficient killer is a crutch, because you have less work to do, I.E., Nurse’s, BBQ, DH, NOED, MYC etc.
Funny part is, these survivor mains can’t come to the realization that if those are “crutch perks” for the killer, then there are also “crutch perks” for survivors. I.E., MoM(good now after nerf), DS(more than fairly balanced now), Deadhard, Adrenaline, etc.
The survivors that cry about killer dreams using “crutch perks” area often running multiple themselves, just let them be the hypocrite, ignore them and move on.
