Low Ranks are more fun than Higher ranks
So after a long break and several missed rank resets i played in rank 20 to 16 during the double BP event, and I had more fun than ever and i met a whole lot more people that i now play with that are so much fun to play with. Because i was rank 5 it was especially easy so i only hooked them once for my BBQ stacks and then just played around with the survs and tried my best to not kill them (except that one P3 laurie with 1288hrs and those 2 Legacy 3 dwights that i met which where fairly unpleasent people) I played around with the survs for example putting them in madness 3 and standing with unnerving presence close to them and everytime they failed a madness skillcheck I smacked them and all that kind of stuff and i actually got to play killers i rarely to never play like Hag, Nurse, Myers. I never had so much fun playing this game since a long time. Is it just me that feels like this or are there people that had the same experience as me?

Simple reason: Survivors don’t try/play optimly every game so it’s a more relaxed environment for killers too.2

It is... around rank 10ish or rank 8 it changed. More moris I saw... just more tryhard for sure. In the 16s to 12s it was quite fun and more chill.
I still had some annoying games from both sides of the fence, but overall low ranks are more "fun". These changes will make the games more fun for killer for sure, and surely pull even MORE SALT from survivors.
Who think they are entitled to survive.
In a game called...
Dead by Daylight.

I play both sides equally, but when i play survivor, its normally solo. And I am tired of feeling like the killer is taking his frustrations from previous matches with swf teams out on solo players. I am 100% cool with SWF being completely removed from the game or an option for killers to OPT OUT

They should be displayed as an SWF group in the lobby they should also limit the amount of items that can be brought in the match (maybe a limit of two flashlights two medkits, ETC) something that could also help is removing the ability to put higher ranking survs that play with lower ranking survs in a low rank match.

once survivors understand how the game works, they have complete control over the game and can decide to genrush and finish the game in less than 5 mins or they can bully you with their flashlights and even refuse to leave the game after the gates are openI started deranking and so far I like it except from the fact that DBD is quite performance-hungry, even if you run it in the background

It is. Got to the point were you cannot play your main to many times in a row or you will end up with nothing but tryhards. Either side I play I want those nice long matches. Not rush though the gens only get 15-16k.2

I think we really need some form of casual matchmaking, where ranking is non-existant.
In turn, ranked matchmaking should give out rewards. You know, what they said they wanted to implement for 2 years now.2 -
@BottledWater Oh yeah I definitely feel like low ranks are more fun! Survivors aren’t hardcore players, and- well, myself as a previous rank 1 Killer can role play MUCH more easily with low rank survivors. Like I love to use insidious with The Nightmare to scare people, or just “test” each player with the Reverse Bear Trap and “let them go” if they can succeed (while using unnerving presence).
I don’t want a challenge. I want survivors who’ll just want to play with me (sad to say).1 -
