Who is the best killer on console, Spirit or Billy?
I am not sure tbh. Billy can be looped but has instadowns. Both can travel the map fast and apply pressure.
With appropriate build I would say Spirit just because of loops, but I still don't feel too sure about it considering how fast Billy can down people who are not mindful of their surroundings.

Spirit + beads & Nurse's Call 😀

Billy for sure.
At least Spirit cannot oneshot you due to broken hitboxes.
And if you're good at stealth ,you can escape a Spirit easily.
3 -
I personally believe Spirit is better at handling a good survivor team because she isn’t easily looped. Spirit also is not map dependent but Billy does not do good on all maps. Spirit can do good on any map.
Against randoms I’d say it is faster to win with Billy but both are reliable.
If you wanna actually pip then Billy is not that good at pipping. He doesn’t get as much chase points as most killers. Spirit can usually always pip if you do good.
The better the team is...Spirit’s viability skyrockets while Billy’s plummets.
It’s honestly a toss up but I’d say Spirit is a more rewarding killer to learn and more fun than Billy. I just think Billy is hella boring, I snooze.

Spirit is the better... you can render Billys chainsaw useless if you're near windows and pallets... spirits power is there no matter what...
3 -
I’d say Spirit but it is a hard choice.

I’d say Spirit but it is a hard choice.

Depends on a lot of factors honestly. Really both are really good while Billy is easier to play from the get go both Killers have skills you can learn. Mastering any killer will easily let you stay at rank 1 despite what people want to say about tier systems of killers.
Billy has some cool tricks you can learn like curving which is fun. His simplicity is his true strength. Both killers have extremely good potential though.
Spirit has mindgames galore if you master her I feel her potential outshines Billy in the long run, but usually every update they break sounds in some way so she can easily be reduced to mid tier.
Overall both killers stand top tier on console and you pick the one you enjoy.

Just gonna post this here:
Scorpion is really good with Nurse and also plays in esports tournaments for DBD.
1 -
Billy is stronger only because he has an one shot and faster pallet break. Yes, he can be looped where Spirit can't, but stealth can hurt Spirit way more than Billy.
2 -
Billy's chainsaw can be a bit more forgiving than the spirit's lunge in terms of hitboxes. I hate prayer beads spirit more than insta saw Billy, but at base I'd say Billy is better since the latency favors him more. Though I feel like the latency affects the spirits passive phasing and can ######### you over. Console has some wonky latency issues.
Spirit's power has more downsides to it (without taking add-on into account). Things like how sounds can be iffy, which is her main tracking tool. It's also on cool down while Billy only has the rev time (which is very minimal). I've seen more spirits though, so maybe she's just more fun to play?
2 -
It's billy
1 -
Every person on this planet can easily win using Billy so the answer should be obvious.
4 -
Against average survivors (~90% of player base): billy
Against very good survivors (~10%): spirit
Other words rank 15-5 billy, 4-1 spirit

See but with my billy (as I used too main him) still does fine. I think he does better than spirit personally only because of instadowns. Saying he isn’t good for all maps isn’t very well the case. If you’re very smart about how you use billy than you’ll do exceptionally well. I’ll do perfectly fine as billy on a map like The Treatments center or Haddonfield. Just as the survivors are must be aware of their surroundings, a billy must as well so he can still get good use of his chainsaw in these smaller, much more claustrophobic maps.
2 -
@TooKoolFoU You can do good on small maps as Billy IF you’re good. IF you can control the chainsaw. IF your frames don’t drop. He isn’t as good on Lery’s because he isn’t able to zip across the map as quickly as he would a map like Rotten Fields. Lery’s really isn’t good for any killer except Myers. I find the map to be hella boring.
If you get a map like Lery’s, when is Billy ever gonna be able to use his chainsaw? He will just get looped with the 50 windows in the map. You can’t deny that Billy is a little map dependent. He can’t reliably use his chainsaw on certain maps. Even if you’re good you’ll struggle. I can play Huntress on Coldwind or any killer on Haddonfield and 4K but it doesn’t mean the match wasn’t a struggle and a complete snoozefest.
Billy isn’t as good on certain maps. That’s just a fact. You can still win on the map but it won’t be as easy as it would for some killers.
Good survivors vs good Billy on Lery’s...more than likely will be a survivor win.

Well someone didn't like the PS4 Nurse gameplay I linked, must have upset someone who still thinks Nurse is unplayable on console 😉

On PC, Nurse, Spirit, Hag and Billy. On console, Spirit, Hag, Billy and Nurse. Nurse can't turn well, but she's still good.

@Poweas If played properly, Nurse is still the most powerful on console. She’s just not as easy to play because of lower frame rates, a controller, and lower sensitivity. It is easier to play Spirit, Hag, and Billy but Nurse is still easily the best. Some players have adapted and are great Nurse players.
I personally have to wait for an optimization patch because I can’t play Nurse without hardcore lag. I’d rather learn her mechanics when the game is running properly.

@MegMain98 good luck when you do! I used to play her on console (Back when it was 10 FPS and not 60 like it is now and it was just like 8 games) and I got stomped. But the second I switched to PC, with the turning, I was on FIRE. That's why I learnt her in 2 days, when you play on a more difficult platform, the other seems like a meme.
It's also why I want them to fix Nurse.

@MegMain98 @NMCKE happens to be an excellent console Nurse main. I remember now that I faced him a couple of times back when I used to play console.
First time, I won (sorry @NMCKE it was an annoying team)
Second time, I think he dominated us. Like it was an excellent team, but he was too gud. I juked him a bit, but he definitely overwhelmed me.

Wait, I'm confused 😂

@Poweas I love Nurse’s aesthetic and her overall character but I’m just awful. It wouldn’t be too hard on PC. Even if you’re bad you’ll stand a chance because she is just so powerful.
Nurse relies on the game running very smoothly. It’s why I have to play Spirit at high ranks (my FPS drops with Hag sometimes especially on Red Forest and Ormond). Even if I get screwed over by FPS she can still catch survivors on foot if need be. Nurse will never be able to. She basically HAS to be good at blinking or you’ll never win.
I have only killed all four survivors a handful of times with Nurse. Thankfully I already got the adept at a very low rank and it was The Game map.

I'd say spirit cause his power doesn't need any perks to counter. A spirit with prayer beads is going to cause you problems if you don't have spine chill.

@MegMain98 when they optimise it, I think you'll find her fun while learning her, but get very, very bored after a while. She's quite boring imo.

I just find the title funny, as it implies you can only pick between those 2.

Nurse is still the strongest killer if played correctly, the only big downside is that you need good fps to play her at full potential i'll post one of my gameplay when the conditions are optmal as i have hundred of hours with her on console. So if you talk about consistentcy i'd say Spirit at red ranks, but instasaw, enduring + sprit fury billy are also op.. There is also The hag, countered by flashlight, but you simply need to run franklin..i'd say against really good Survivors the most consistent are Spirit first, Hag second, Billy third.
@Poweas the fps now still suck, only 1 game out of 4 the fps are really good, but still nowhere near 60, only in kyf we maybe reach that, so i'm excited to see if they improve the game in the next patch, she would become a lot easier(i also played her when the fps sucked so bad so)
Here's some gameplay btw
0 -
@lunaticlifter I hope it gets improved. I want to see you playing in this FPS
That's me btw, when I was learning the Nurse. You could have pitted rank 1 survivors against me and I still would have won just as easily. Although I was using OP addons and got a lucky map.
But the FPS is what matters.
0 -
@Poweas i'd like it, especially with the higher sensitivity.. but still fps are the only reason i don't play nurse as much as before, i don't use omegablinks anymore, they are far too op, that's why i run ruin and play with no add ons..we'll see tomorrow if they improved the game
0 -
@lunaticlifter I don't play her much anymore either, but because she's boring to me. I don't run omegablink or addons either anymore, since they are obviously so broken it's insane.
I never run Ruin though either, since she's so OP, I can win perkless. Obviously I use perks though :P
1 -
@Poweas yeah understood, but something op is what we need esepcially against tryhard swf running all the crutches
0 -
@lunaticlifter I face them every game lol at rank 4-3, Nurse is that strong that she can STILL defeat them. And my current build is actually kind of weird. No BBQ or Ruin. I run Shadowborn, A Nurses calling, Sloppy butcher and Thanatophobia. I can dominate easily with this.
Nurse is one of those who can stomp a sweaty SWF without perks and addons.
0 -
@lunaticlifter @Poweas Nurse needs absolutely nothing to completely destroy survivors. She can go in without add-ons and perks and still kill everyone. She is just super good at ending chases quickly. If you’re good at Nurse then you need nothing.
Nurse is the ONLY killer than needs nothing against a good group. No other killer can do that, not Spirit, not Hag, not Billy. It doesn’t matter how good the survivors are, if the Nurse is really good she will always win.
With the other top tier killers like Spirit, Hag, and Billy you still don’t need OP add-ons. At the VERY most you’d need green add-ons. I don’t even use add-ons with Hag unless I’m doing a specific build.
I personally can’t play Nurse because I’m bad at her. The only time I did somewhat decent was when I was running the two long blink range add-ons.
0 -
@MegMain98 yeah I agree, she's that OP. I'm totally hoping to see her addons nerfed and not her power, since she's good.
0 -
@MegMain98 i agree, but imho you guys tend to understimate really good swf, not the altruistic one, not the toxic one, not them... the people that knoe how to play the game, know how to hide, know how to loop.. i met some god swf, they did 5 gens in 4 minutes, while i was downing people like flies(omegablink nurse)... i got 3 k but only thanks to a mori, no ruin.. trust me they are rare, but i balance my thoughts around those players
0 -
@MegMain98 @Poweas I think she is balanced at base, I can juke her fairly easy. I wouldn’t call her OP, add ons, yes.
I fear good spirits more than a good nurse.
0 -
@lunaticlifter I’m talking about solely The Nurse. It really doesn’t matter if you know how to loop, Nurse cannot be looped.
If they bring in four commodious toolboxes with charge add-ons and ONLY did generators and brought in meta perks like Mettle of Man, Balanced Landing, Adrenaline, etc...they can win against any other killer. Nurse simply does not care. She blinks, hits a survivors, goes into a short stun and can down the survivor in 10 seconds flat. She has MASSIVE map control, the best chase potential, can never be looped, and a power that isn’t on a recharge.
When you can end a chase in under 20 seconds and fly across the map to another survivor and do that over and over again they can never win. Looping is not an option, the only way to win is stealth and four Blendettes makes for a very boring game.
0 -
@megmain98 that's what i meant, there also was a blendette in this team, she knew how to hide, but also the others knew how to stealth... but eventually(i met them also as legion) they also know how to loop.. for me a god swf are genrusher who know hot to play and cooperate against different killer, even a nurse can lose to that, talking about this specific case i won in the endgame, but only thanks to a mori.. i got demolished the game later as legion(it's ok though). Also if you don't think omegablink are op, you never played her. They should go to
0 -
@lunaticlifter If you hide and make a bush your home all game sure you might win. What are you gonna do when Nurse starts to get hooks and you gotta go for saves? She’ll easily blink back over and down both of you. You can’t be immersed ALL game or nothing will get done.
Not to mention hiding will not always work, you’re not always perfectly hidden.
Legion and Nurse are totally different though. The only killer that can somewhat compare to Nurse is Spirit and even she isn’t in Nurse’s league.
If I get demolished by a SWF it’s totally fine. I got Haddonfield today and I was playing Clown for a ritual. Needless to say they all escaped but I got my ritual so I was happy.
People take it too seriously sometimes. You will lose sometimes. The map layout may not be in your favor. I only get upset when it is the game that is broken (like sounds occlusion and lag issues) not when survivors outplay me.
By the way...I have gone against and play as omegablink Nurse. I still believe that extra blink Nurse is more powerful because she has more opportunities to redirect her blinks.
0 -
@MegMain98 i agree sometimes we should just enjoy the game, but you know it's not funny to lose, when your opponent win just by crutches or because you don't have time to do nothing even if you play good, it's frustrating.. anyway you're talking right proxy camping is also a strategy espcially with hag.. then again Omegablinks are more powerful for someone who has a little of experience with her, while extra blinks are more powerful for someone who is still learning her..
0 -
@MegMain98 the range addons are ridiculous. I hate them to play and play against. It breaks her. Plus with Surveillance and a brain, she can get to generators with almost no warning, something her base can't do without Monitor and Abuse.
0 -
@lunaticlifter The only survivor perk that is annoying to me is Mettle of Man, which is massively getting nerfed (as it should). I can’t complain about DS because I shouldn’t have been tunneling and I run Adrenaline so I’d be a hypocrite. I play to have fun until I run into a sweaty SWF group. I could win every single match with OP add-ons and a mori if I wanted to and overpower all of them but I choose not to. It’s no point in playing like them. Although sometimes I will just to let off some steam on a group that I've previously played against.
Hag is the best killer at camping because she doesn’t even have to be at the hook in order to come back in two seconds. She is basically made to patrol the hook, it’s why Make Your Choice is godly on her.

Freddy is the best Killer on all platforms

If I had to choose between The Spirit and The Hillbilly. I actually had a lot more fun being The Hillbilly. His chainsaw can be a real game changer. He is much easier to learn in comparison. To be fair, The Spirit with a great set up can easily destroy a group of survivors.

Have you heard of iron will??

Imo spirit. Billy can be fun, but spirit just feels strong to play. Especially with a good build like prayerbeads, ruin, and surveillance. She just has a ton of map preassure and information. Not to mention great for gen grabs and stopping loops from going on too long.
