Technician Buff
The perk should be what it is now, but needs one more thing. Here is my idea.
If you are the only one working on a generater the generater will be silent and have no sign of progression.

I like it, it really needs a buff. This would fit to Feng Min being a competitive line wolf. :)

Yeah instead of the reduced hearing distance it should just make it completely silent. Even when there is more than one survivor on the gen that would still be fine imo

Would also be awesome if when the killer checks the gen, the gen looks like it was never worked on. That or make it affect gates, too. Maybe those red lights on the gate don't light up for awhile. The noise to open a gate is quieter/gone and the beeping of the gate is quieter/gone.

I think this could be abused, especially if a whole SWF were using it as you could waste so much time going and checking gens that looked fully regressed to make sure that they aren’t actually being worked on. I think the complete sound reduction of them being worked on would be a welcomed changed though.

Lol I was trying to think of how it'd be abused, but once you said SWF, something clicked for some reason. Yeah, immersed people would use it the most. They'd hear heartbeat, Urban away, and the killer's time would be wasted and wouldn't even know it was worked on. Wouldn't be fair. Didn't think about that.

Since SWF has been mentioned a few times, I'd suggest not implementing this change to not give people another thing to complain about. Applying this effect to the exit gates however would make it a decent perk. Besides that it could receive two other buffs:
- Increasing the odds to prevent generator explosion to 80/90/100%
- Applying 8 metres hearing reduction no matter how many survivors are working on a gen

I think the perk is fine the way it isn’t right now but the 8 meter sound reduction should affect ALL survivors working on the generator and not you.

Not even SWF, if there were a perk that could make it so the killer NEVER knew which gens had progress or even if 5 were 99ed, everyone would use it because it'd be insane.
