Can the devs please notify us when exploits with perks can get you banned with with in game notify
So this new survivor perk is apparently now bannable and i have been using that for a long time to get more blodpoints during the double blodpoints and the event blodpoints and I feel like the devs need to say something like an notification about that this is bannable.
Like i dont even know how it work do i need to use that perk and something else with it or is it only that perk because i want blodpoints during the double blodpoints and the event bonus blodpoints offering devs need to make a notification in game about these issues i feel like.

All exploits are bannable. It's right there in the rules. Don't exploit and you don't run the risk of being banned.

I won't ask for details if I'm wrong but isn't the Wake Up bug just passive and something you benefit from just by having? Or is this another perk that's bugged?

@Orion Using a perk in game that the devs made. Its very easy to just say just dont exploit Pepega but at the end of the day casual players who goes on and play everyday cause double blodpoints want more blodpoints so they use that and then get banned because they never go on the forum we need a notification in game... or on the forum

A few things are bugged at the moment.
Well, you know it's bugged, so it's easy to tell you not to exploit because you're doing it on purpose.

Well assuming it's wake up I'm fairly certain no one has been banned for it and likely won't be either since simply having a perk equipped with no official recognization that it's bugged isn't TECHNICALLY exploiting it. You may benefit from it but it can't be proven that you're exploiting it.

@Orion I was using that during double blodpoints because wanted more blodpoints offcourse and at the point i had no ide about it being broken but untill yearsday i found out about and they still havent made an notification about it...

Problem is all the people who use the perk without knowing it's bugged right now. They are unintentionally exploiting that perk in that case.

Once you know something is bugged and you continue to use it, that is the definition of exploiting.
=Just remove whatever perks are messed up and try some new stuff, Im not running the bugged killer perks for same reason, survs can do the same.

I don't use these exploits but its just lazy from the devs. Yes let's ban players who used a perk we screwed up but also refuse to disable perk. Dirty cheater's

They should disable the perk, yes, but so far no one has been banned for it.

Don't know of any Killer getting banned for using Tinkerer at tier 2 for no terror radius awhile ago when it was bugged.

@Jonathanskilz Why do you keep saying that you use this perk for more bloodpoints? This perk never gave any bonus bloodpoints.
Also, now you know that this perk is bugged. If you still use it, you are knowingly bug abusing.
You are basically asking if you can exploit as long as the devs don't make an official anouncement. The answer is easy: Exploiting is not allowed. Don't do it.

At least let us legion players sign an extra contract since we get the 'special' treatment. Just because you don't like legion doesn't mean you should punish the players. (I know some/most of those were justified)

They won't ban anyone if they haven't notified both in the forum and in-game; they didn't for the Pinky Finger, and no one got banned for it, although I think most people respected it when they found out/when they used it only attacked when it would be a legit earned instadown since it's a skill anyway.
So far it's only happened with Legion in the time that I've played, and there were very clear warnings in-game.

I got VAC banned without even using Wake Up, legion mend, or any third party softwares...
My friend told me Sloppy Butcher also gets you straight up perma VAC banned, is this true?

- No, Sloppy Butcher does not get you permanently banned, your friend is a liar.

That bug held the game hostage, wake up doesnt. Besides, killers werent banned for using Tinkerer at tier two and Sloppy Butcher (on wraith) when they were bugged. Theres no double standard.

They do. When the Infinite meding bug and the Multiple Killers bug were in the game, they notified people in game that its bannable. It's also in the rules too NOT EXPLOIT THE GAME. You don't need a notification too know exploiting is bad, so if you do it then you deserve the ban. Imagine if that same argument was for people who use aim bot in FPS games. They never say that Aim botting is bannable in game but we all know it is.

Had I miss something to that time?
I just remember a ingame-news pop up that had inform the players of the exploit and that players who use this exploit will be banned. Also there was a warning message here in the dbd forums for a week or so...
That is not much. Imo, the most dbd players reading not the forums (otherwise the traffic in this forums would be much higher). With that in mind, the Legion players to that time had only 1 newsmessage in the game, that had told them from the exploit.
That is not much imo and easy to miss.
When I looking back, I was really lucky to play the Legion without addons at those days, if I think how easy it was to "exploit".
I mean... In other games you need for that some third party-programms, or some sort of console command, if a console exist in those games... Here was it enough to choose 2 free avaible addons.

An aimbot doesn't come from ingame bugs, it's using 3rd party software so everyone with an aimbot is cheating on purpose while bugs u can never be sure if it's on purpose abused or not. That's the difference. So either they ban noone OR you notify every single person ingame about the bug and warn them to get banned with abusing it.
But u can't just straight jump into banning.

There isnt. When killers were abusing the tinkerer bug and sloppy butcher Wraith bug- nobody got banned (and if i remember correctly, survivors were asking for bans.) but yeah. There sure is a double standard.
