Furtive Chase paired with Dying Light on Ghost Face
Seems like it can be a good combo.
What do you all think?
And don’t come in here saying Furtive is bad just ‘cause you don’t understand the perk. Lol

How would your obsession being constantly switched to a fresh target be good for Dying Light?
And then have all your Furtive Chase tokens be lost when you do trigger Dying Light?
13 -
Because there’s more chances for you to get the obsession killed and for dying light to take effect...

Plus you won’t tunnel tf out of one person

Furtive Chase is used as back up on Ghost face specifically to his ability, hit them if not able to stalk fully or they run into you and night shroud loses its effect but then Furtive effect takes place because you’re in a chase right away.

No, you get a new Survivor who needs more hooks to die and trigger Dying Light and you can't even Mori the original obsession. That is literally less chances the obsession will die.
If you aren't tunneling, you really aren't planning on Dying Light activating at all.

You are missing the point of dying light. It's meant to kill the obsession quickly for a big reward for the rest of the game. Otherwise, you get dying light with 1 gen at 90% near end game so you can get teabagged and called a noob killer for using it. So no. It's awful.

You don't understand how either of these perks actually interact with each other. Furtive chase constantly switches the obsession to the person whose unhooking from the previously hooked obsession. Dying Light only works when the obsession is dead and if the obsession switches to a living survivor the effect stops working. Furtive Chase would not only give you a lousy effect, it would ensure you're never procing dying light. The entire point of Dying Light is to get rid of the obsession to massively cripple the team as soon as possible. You don't want another obsession target because you won't get the effect. It also doesn't stack should you kill your new obsession.
Furtive Chase as a perk is just plain bad. Shrinking your TR could be a huge boon to a stealth killer, if it were outside of chase. Shrinking inside of chase doesn't do anything except make it easier for the chases to break. The only perk that benefits from a smaller TR in chase would I'm All Ears, but that perk too is pitiful.

Lmao your screen name suits you. (x but ghost face is already so good at catching people off guard and keeping the pressure on as is. It’s not about securing the gens and being a lame try hard. It’s about that cushioned bonus that you can possibly get. Any time I used dying light and would tunnel the obsession would catch on and would be super stealthy and such because they knew they were the obsession the whole time. Especially if they don’t have survivor obsession perks they’re mindful that you have one that can take effect. But when the obsession is constantly jumping around it changes that up soooooo....

Lol you clearly don’t understand Furtive (x

You guys are clearly playing a different game than me or you’re really bad at killer lol
0 -
Lol I’m trying it out. I’ll let you know if it works out or not.

The entire point of running Dying Light is to tunnel the obsession to death. If you are not doing this, you are using it inefficiently. You would be better off running something like PWYF or Remember Me. There is more synergy there, although it’s not great.

Gotta love people who call others stupid and ignorant when that person himself is clearly clueless as all hell. Keep telling people that a perk that switches the obsession more than any other perk pairs well with a perk that becomes worthless when the obsession is switched. There's obviously no need for you to pay attention to others when you clearly know what's right.

Crazy how first game I ever used it that it worked like a charm (;
0 -
Last person only got away at hatch because the game has been glitching like crazy lately and it didn’t register my grab on them as they jumped in.
0 -
There it is. There's the true intent of this post XD
1 -
No point in remember me because I hardly let survivorship get to open the gates, but that is a nice back up plan. And PWYF I’ll have to look into and test out. First game I used dying light and furtive it worked really well so.

What?! that none of you try unique builds or play styles and only follow the meta?! (x
0 -
It doesn’t matter what the meta is; I’m not trying Monstrous Shrine.
1 -
LMFAO, as if the ignorance of how new things in the game work wasn't obvious enough, you're adding on that a glitch stopped you from hatch grabbing a survivor after the end game collapse patch?
3 -
*Calls others stupid when the obvious flaws in their perk combo are pointed out*
*Complains about the non existent hatch grab*
2 -
Non existent hatch grab?! Bahahahaha L

I literally grabbed someone from jumping into the hatch earlier today...

They were running towards and then jumping in hatch just as it opened, I didn’t have time to close it you ######### cucks. People like y’all are the cancer of this community. No cap.
0 -
Sure you did. Definitely. Again, no need for you to listen to anybody else. You clearly know better.
1 -
yeah. You guys proved that point, I really do know better lol

If you kill the obsession and activate Dying Light, then the obsession switches to someone else, the Dying Light effects are reversed, which is absolute garbage but it is what it is. Using a perk that will switch the obsession means you will have a much harder time getting DL to activate. You hook the obsession, they get saved, now a new person is the obsession. You hook the new obsession, then they get saved. Now someone else is the obsession who you haven't hooked yet, so you are starting from scratch again. Do you get it?

This man has 3000IQ well played Slow Claps
1 -
Yeah. But when you’re damaging everyone and they’re all on their second or last hook then the chances increase there. I get it, it’s optimal to tunnel and use other obsession perks with furtive rather but it was just an idea and in typical dbd community fashion everyone is rude. Not like it matters in higher ranks anyways since all survivors are try hards with ds and adrenaline and mettle of man etc. lol

@vux_intruder If this is a troll thread then well played sir. If not.... well, I worry for you.
1 -
Oof.... you got me(;

I’ll post an actual optimal ghost face build later lol

Okay guys, get this, how about Rancor and Furtive???!! Now that’ll be OP. (x

The best perk synergy for Furtive Chase is Make Your Choice and possibly Remember Me if it wasn't so bad now. Dying Light would never proc if you had Furtive on since it changes the obsession, so unless the survivor who saved was on death hook it wouldn't be useful at all.
1 -
Furtive Chase really only works for Freddy, but I feel that says it all for it's current state in the game.
0 -
I may have been teasing along about Dying Light. But furtive chase works well in the sense that you break chase faster so that gives you the ability to get the jump on survivors who stay hiding in one spot because they think you’ve stopped chasing them, which most survivors do.

MoM? DS? Have you been to high ranks? Both perks are barely mediocre. Obviously not, since you have no idea how the obsession mechanic works.
