Are the devs ever going to make playing killer fun?
I love to play killer because being one person able to go against 4 is a cool concept but currently the killer is limited by how good the survivors are and even more so with SWF. Because of strong perks on the survivor side and items like insta heals it makes it harder for killers yet killers always seem to be either nerfed of ignored. Ex: the survivor Gen bug was fixed before killer sound bug. Point being that a killer who is just as good as the survivors will usually lose because they are the dominant role.

The devs are scared to bring more strong killers into the game. I’m still trying to figure out the most optimal Ghostface build, but I’ll probably just go back to my Spirit so I can ruin SWF

Literally anything that buys you time, ive been slaughtering with discordance, pwyf, ruin, and thrilling tremors.
My guess he might be a basement kind of killer

I just stay in low ranks and have fun their. I'm suppose too be in red ranks but its so boring with everyone there just gen rushing, infinite looping, and sweating with OP builds where the only killers who have a chance of safety pip are Spirit, Billy, and Nurse. I would love if this game had Quick Match as a feature so I could play either way depending on my mood.

We've all seen that. At this point, it's spam.

Don't rank up (not a problem with some killers). People get super sweaty. Pretty chill in greens and even purple. I suggest finding the killer you enjoy the most and having a playstyle you love. Play the game for you and you'll have fun. Set realistic goals for fun. Especially with people still learning, you can play lazy. Have a good laugh if you or the survivor make a mistake. Don't fall for people baiting you to chase them. Let them follow you and adopt them after the game. Oh, and keep messages/end-game chat off. If there's salt, don't pay it any attention.
Good luck mate. :P

I'd never seen it until now. But if you're so sick of it, why don't you address the point?

Until the developers balance this game for high ranks, I'm not going to bother sitting there at the end of every season. I'll play the game at the ranks they balance for, 10 - 12. Down here, I can play whoever I want, get maximum points, and I don't even have to kill anyone if I don't want to.
I have nothing to prove anymore in this game. I've beaten and been beaten by the best, so now I can just enjoy the ride. Now I'm just farming points for the endless grind. Maybe if they improve the balance of the game I'll bother climbing again, but until then, I'll take my maximum points/black pip games all day.

@Orion I won't comment on his spam comment, because as you've said: You didn't see it until then. He just likes to troll and stir the pot, so ignore him. He's jailed for a reason.
That said . . . the point has been addressed ad nauseam here at the forums, the Steam forums, the reddit, et cetera for quite some time now. Killer is not the power-role in DBD. The thing is, Behavior fails to address the issue, and the onus is on them to do so.
Then again, let's look at their idea of a "killer" power-role. Take a look at Deathgarden: Bloodharvest. Hunter is definitely a power-role over there, and the game is dying just as fast as it did the first time around. They even screwed-up making Hunter the power-role.
I get that Behavior seems to want their brand to be that of an asymmetrical game developer. The problem, though, is that they honestly aren't very good at it. They claimed in an article in August 2018 that DBD sold over 4-million copies. Well, if that's true, their retention rate is absolutely abysmal.

This, but if you prefer, you can wear angry messages like a trophy.

@Masantonio God damn it. Stop stalking me. xD
I will say that I have kept one particularly salty voice message and a few written ones. I had one where a rank 13 killer messaged me and tried to flex on me before calling me a "sweaty killer main" and blocking me. My friends and I had a good laugh at that one.

Whoops. Must be you post good stuff.
I do it so I can go back and laugh at those who get angry over a game.

@Masantonio I think you have me confused for someone else. Go outside and be free instead of stalking internet strangers. xD
