Thanks for Ghostface, survivors = pointless
Well everyones playing GF, looking at him does nothing and he can mark and 1 shot everyone pretty much instantly. He is pretty much unbeatable. I guess they finally found a way to make playing a survivor pointless. My opinion though but its time to retire DBD like the rest of my community and move on to another survivor game or go back to F13.

Uh... It's easy to break him out...? I have done it numerous times during chases.

Try learning how to play against him instead of jumping to conclusions because you're used to easy wins

Odd, I've escaped him even with the semi-weird detection range... he is still loopable and he still has to hook you 3 times for the kill.

So staring at him breaks him out? How long do you have to stare i had several occasions where full pallet animations and maybe a second before that wasnt enough time...definately not whining just curious so i can learn to play against him

From what I have noticed you have to make sure it is angled right in the center where your head almost blocks the view. You will then hear an odd hiss-type noise and he will glow a bit. That is your signal that you are revealing him.

On ps4 he is the only killer I am facing since he got added. Maybe it is because he 4k's in 99.9 % of the games I had.
I wasn't able throwing it out when getting chased, or just seeing the face. Really annyoing was the amount of times that i got the points for throwing him out but still getting exposed the same second.

Ok i have seen that but the red around me didnt go away...do you have to do that for a period of time?

The red around you Is you being marked. I do not think that decreases by revealing him. If you are fully exposed/marked you just have to wait it out. If it is partial I know being manually hit removes it.

@JLew You cannot break LoS with him, while it's one of your defenses, it's one of his too. If you break LoS his detection resets.

That's why the hotfix is coming. Because breaking him out of stealth is EXTREMELY buggy.
Other than that, his core mechanics are more than fine and people asking for nerfs need to get their ######### together and learn to play against him.

Rule of thumb: anyone below rank 13 on ps4 has problems breaking him out, mostly because they don't know how look at him right anyone above that should know how to handle him except for a few potatoes, that's why you see him so much and he is getting so many kills, i play ps4 as and against GF he is not difficult at all to break (once broke him about 20 times in a match)

Ahh gotcha so I think my confusion was i was thinking you can break out of being marked, which you cannot, you can only break him out of his stealth mode and that is by staring at him directly. Ok got it thanks fellas

Easily loop-able, so he's not that great.

Its really easy to break his shroud and he us loud enough that it hurts mindgames . Improve your camera control cause hyper vigilance turns him into an m1.

i think survivor side is pretty much dying already, i know lots of people who have quit and even i don't enjoy this game much anymore. DBD has been killer sided for a very long time and survivors are usually just too weak without SWF. im gonna enjoy this more when they nerf spirit and buff legion and give survivors better perks

no, i escape most of the time but on red ranks as solo survivor it's almost impossible. and that wasn't even my point, i was talking about the perks, how unbalanced they are.

His power is good if you can sneak up on people. I've always used spine chill though so it's not an issue for me.

Yeah leave DBD to go back to a buggy mess called F13 which is 100 times worse only because you can't get easy escapes here like you can in F13 against autistic Russian kids. Good riddance.
