Best killers to slug with? Since bbq is bugged atm.
BBQ and chill stacks aren't working atm. So I thought might as well as try some slugging builds.
Any recommendations?
Right now I'm trying out Plague with Knockout, Ruin, Thano and Infectious Fright/Bamboozle/M&A. If they don't cleanse then its a shorter chase where they'd have to play a game of hide and seek together. Well at least until I run into a SWF that makes the strat unviable. 😥 She seems to be not so bad at this depending on the map.
Paired with whatever addons I feel like running.

Freddy is a slug god. Has built in Deerstalker and Coulrophobia (if they're in dream state).
Hag, Nurse, Spirit all slug really well too.

Myers is a snowball killer that's good for that and he can use a terror radius build for tier 3 to get the best use for things like Coulrophobia, especially Infectious Fright.

Billy and bubba. They can easy camp for free downs.
myers with perma EW1 build and I have a feeling ghostface could be a good slugger too

Yeah you still get the 4 stacks.. it is a visual bug.. i believe it is listed in the patch notes.

I believe it's a visual bug with most if not all the stack based perks.

Hag and Spirit are the 2nd best sluggers, Freddy and Nurse are first.

Huntress is the slug queen. That's like one of the most effective ways to play her at high ranks is to slug a lot. And she can down survivors quickly and from a distance. Sloppy procs on her hatchets too. Just be sure to have Nurse's Calling.
Here's a pure overpowered slug build for Huntress:
OPEN SEASON - Nurse's Calling, Iron Maiden, Knockout/Sloppy Butcher, Deerstalker, Iridescent Hatchets, Flower Babushka. Whack 'em with a hatchet, reload instantly, look for the next victim. You can easily slug all 4 super fast with this build. Just be warned that you probably won't pip because you won't get enough Chaser/Malicious due to how fast the game ends.

Other killers can down survivors faster and Freddy is a loopable m1 killer.

A killer's slug potential is directly related to how fast they can down survivors. Billy, Nurse, and Huntress can all down survivors super fast. Freddy cannot, and if the slug gets rescued he actually has to spend more time re-slugging them.
Freddy (original version) is more effective when you go for gen stalling strats, similar to Doc. Hence why the absolute strongest perk for Freddy is Dying Light because if he gets it to proc with anything more than 2 gens left he wins the game.

BBQ still works, it's just a display bug at 3 stacks.

Nurse and spirit top tier slug masters. They get downs fast and can suprise rescuers with there power. There also good on the chase no m1 nonesense.
Recomended perks coulrophobia, nurses calling, infectious fright and distressing. Ruin can be susitiuted for infectious firght if your not used to slugging and have a weaker chase game.

BBQ is a visual bug.
Also, Freddy is an amazing slugger. Slap SF + Enduring + NC + Ruin and you're golden.
