Works like a charm in Identity V
the challenge here is for the small group of devs... can do really implement a balanced and fun 8v2?

Problem is they cant at the moment
Im not pretty sure of how it works but basically 8v2 mode would make the ping go nuts since DBD is not designed to support that amount of players
Once dedicated servers come into play it may be a possibility

lol it is designed for 4+ players even wihout development, just check the bug videos of 4 killers vs 2 survs and so on

Its different when there are 8 survivors, the bug videos showed 3 vs 2

Feel like 6v2 would be better. 2 in chase and 4 on gens means they are still gonna finish gens faster than a normal match and you only need 1 survivor with rescue perks for efficient saves. Coordinated teams will almost always have 3 gen jockeys working at all times.
At the very least the 2 teams mode would be interesting and would probably see far more stealth tactics then current play.

Well. They could probably just copy some of the identity V rules for DbD. (-30% generator speed for example)
Afterall theyre already taking hints from IdV for dbdmobile. (Didya see the skillcheck UI in the teaser?)

I don't think that this could be balanced in a good way. Just seeing Ghostface applying exposed and a nurse farming that...
The list goes on and on.

I want to see a leatherface camp one getting one out of the game indefinitely while a nurse goes around and destroys everyone else. Or a nurse/spirit combo. In all seriousness it wouldn't be fun and the ping would sky rocket.

I'd really love to have kill with a friend mode. Hopefully after servers come live we may get this amazing mode.

You didn't see what happen when 2+ killers in one match exploit? Bugs everywhere.
The best they can do now is work on dedicated servers to bring us without bugs, maybe more later a 2v8 will be a thing, but I doubt, cuz constant updates/reworks.
The most powerful anti-counter: Doctor + Nurse, Doctor just camp 3 gens always in threatened mode and nurse just chasing the screams, seems fair.

Things like this are dependent on dedicated servers which roll out this summer.
I had a glance at this year's roadmap and I strongly suggest they ditch or make way one chapter release for an implementation of a new gamemode or two.
