Haddonfield and Badham.
I will spend my first minute searching for Survivors, Hex: Ruin or not, and 3 gens are done, no hooks, no hits, you have to walk a mile to even rotate gens, even a 3 gen strat will just be destroyed by how awful and easy gen rush is these days. It melts my brain cells to play these maps, I never ever DC, but every time I get an offering of those or the map itself, it feels so much more satisfying to set the controller down and not play, use some crappy add ons and just might as well leave them to work, not like I'd get any BP anyway. There is no 'git gud' when there is no viable Killers on big maps except Hillbilly and Nurse, like I gotta play a fast mobility Killer so I have a chance to do anything in the game? Pisses me off, they spawn miles away, they are well made maps, but objective points are mind melting and painful.

They're both terrible maps yeah. Worse in a chase too

Yeah. Best you can hope for most times is they somehow 3 gen themselves. Even then though with basement gens and 2nd floor gens it's pretty difficult to put much pressure. Throw in BL and then it's even more difficult.

Use Whispers.

Yeah, and chase the one guy while all the others work on gens? Okay.

Oh, great, you know what the Survivors Objective is. If you think it is a problem that 3 people are doing Gens while you chase someone, I think you should stop playing the game, because this will most likely happen every time.
Whispers helps to find people. And having a Chase with one Person is better than having no Chase at all.
But I guess you only wanted to complain.

Why the hell are you being hostile? I just said that why use Whispers when I'll waste my time getting gen rushed while chasing a Survivor, I made a point of Gens being too far, chasing a Survivor will only have gens pop faster, what got up your ass? Don't be a douchebag.

I mean, what do you want then? That Survivors dont work on Gens? Not gonna happen.
I really dont know what your problem is. You seem to have a problem with the fundamental idea of the game - Killer chasing and killing the Survivors, Survivors repairing Gens to open the Exit Gates.

I agree with op, there's no reason for these two maps to be around without appropriate rework.
For the time being they should be disabled

Take the gen distance on Lery's, Yamaoka, Autohaven, The Game, all those maps, the distance of gens is workable, now with Haddonfield, gens are split from one end of the map to the other, I would have no issue with chasing a Survivor if gens weren't miles apart, I can stop Survivors and put pressure, trust me. Now with Haddonfield, trying to put pressure on gens is nothing like on a closer gen scaled map, it does not make closer gen maps harder to work with, it makes larger maps a struggle, especially for low experience players.

One tactic I've found that can sometimes work is stacking gens in your favor. Allow the survivors to work on the ones farthest away or spread out so that you have kept the few at the end closer together to patrol more efficiently if the survivors are gen rushing.
