How do you prove a killer cheats?
With perks like bbq and chilli in the game it is almost impossible to accuse a killer of using wall hacks, just had a game where it was blatantly obvious that the leather face was cheating.
the start of the game, i am in the most random spot not near a gen and behind a hill next to a wall.. there is zero line of sight so don't say "hurr he saws yooos from across da mapsies@!" this is on red forest with a mist offering... he has no whispers or any way of seeing through objects, he even came around the hill sideways staring at me!
after hooking me it was the usual thing of walking direct to other players, some at a questionable range for bbq and chilli 2... and then i had a moment where i was close to the hook while he hung someone on it, he wouldn't piss off! he just kept hovering around it on the side that i was hidden in hopes that i would show myself so it wasn't suspicious. he gave up eventually and went ... direct to another survivor on a gen...
i can under stand hanging around on the hook, but this was the bs moment for me. he hooked someone and i was on the opposite side of the map. i made a run for it and counted to 10, i then found somewhere to nestle down and wait. 15 seconds later the LF pops into view from behind the house staring directly at me behind my hiding spot, no looking around no nothing. It took him 25 seconds to get to me! i could be anywhere but he knew i was there...
the game is almost over so he steps up his game and starts double slugging, i can only see the survivors going down but i would love to know how he knew their locations... i complete the last gen with 2 on the hook and 1 dead, i am on the other side of the map and could have chosen to go any way to save the survivors or even open the door next to me. i waited about 5 seconds after bursting the gen to see if the killer would show himself and nothing... so i then make my way to the house in the middle of the map and start to make my way around the outside of it, what do you know! the heartbeat starts up and the leather face just happened to chose the right side to walk around, funny that right?
but all of this can be argued with the explanation of "i have bbq and chilli" ...........

I read a paper once that said that when people retell stories that involve time generally the time they retell is doubled from what it actually was. So your 25 seconds may have been more like 10 to 12 seconds (unless you had a stopwatch running?) Things happen and killers can see more than you might think. Scratches, a head bob, your butt might be sticking out from the rock, the tool box your carrying might poke out from around a tree, etc. It's not always cheating. Also, sometimes it's just smart gameplay. There are places on maps that survivors tend to use for hiding and experienced killers will check those points.But it's possible he may have also been cheating. Unfortunately there's no real way to prove it. It sucks but that's how it is I'm afraid. We live and die by EAC.
i literally counted... and every spot is a hiding spot on this map.

Just get outplayed in a swf and automatically accuse the killer of being a cheat because let's face it that's the only real way a killer can outplay you. You're a god!!
