Unbelievable experience with 2 useless teammates

(Warning: long post ahead)

Platform: Ps4

It was me,my friend and 2 SWF guys.

A Meg and a Jake.

Map: Shelter Woods

Killer: The Hag

I loop the Hag for about 2 minutes, 2 gens done by my friend.

The other two did nothing, I guess they were trying to find and cleanse the Hex:Ruin. (They didn't obviously).

I get hooked in the basement, The Hag placed some traps along the stairs (I guess everyone would expect that to happen, right? )

The Hag found my friend and hit him.

"Luckily" Jake was close to the basement so I told my friend to not worry about me.

But Jake started doing a generator RIGHT NEXT TO THE BASEMENT and that generator wasn't even STARTED YET.

So what happened? I went in to the struggle phase and Jake still wasn't moving.

My friend managed to lose the Hag (he is very good at stealth ) and had to come and rescue me from the other side of the map while injured!

Anyway I proceed to do a gen with my friend (there was no time for healing,The Hag had sloppy butcher and Meg and Jake were WASTING time using self care) .

Anyway,Me and my buddy were both injured. Jake got hooked, I was running a "Im gonna rescue from the hook " build that game + Iron Will so I went for the save in the basement despite being injured.

I crouch on the stairs.

Do you know what happened?

While I was almost down in the basement,Meg came RUNNING and triggered all the traps.

The Hag teleported on the stairs.

I was trapped.

The only thing I could have done was to save Jake with BT, and I did.

The Hag hit and slugged me.

I recovered, my friend was getting chased ,Meg was running around the map and Jake was self healing with Sloppy.

And. No. One. Healed. Me. Up.

I was pretty salty,so I texted Jake with an ironic "thanks for saving me" after I died.

(I didn't want to text Meg because I am lazy)

He said "you're welcome, not a lot I could do,I was healing" (######### does that even mean anyway,he knew my friend was getting chased)

I proceed to tell him how much of a idiot he was and he kept blaming ME for my death.

After a few messages, I understood that he was stubborn so I was about to block him when MEG texted me.

(I was like: "lmao, what does this chick even want, she is the main reason I died")

And she texted me saying " Rank 2 noob, boosted"

I answered back "said the one who just triggered all the traps in the basement "

Long story short, they both ignored what I had to say, and blamed me for my own death after what they have done.

(The Jake also said Im a noob cause I wasnt running Self Care, a "must have" he said,LMAO)

And people are wondering why there are so many 4 men swf.

*sigh*

    Indeed.

The hag didn't place a lot of traps, just two around the killer shack where she got me.

Interesting? I was angry AF xD.

This just seems like the standard.

Was Meg just dumb or did she try sandbagging you there? I've had swfs sandbag me like that. At least you have a buddy. I foolishly solo in this climate and royally regret it when I get people like the Meg and Dwight. I had my fair share of arguments with those kind of survivors. Always ends with them blocking me. xD Like who's the petty one now?

What rank were the other two? Rank reset makes my matches harder as killer main. playing solo survivor it's a struggle clawing your way to matches with competent survivors.

If i get to second stage on first hook while you crouched and tip toed to the hook (excluding hag) because God forbid you leave scratch marks next to the hook then pause in front of me in case the killer who is outside terror radius could be coming back.... I will suicide in your face and roll the dice on the next group of randoms for my next match.

They were rank 10/9 I think.

    (Perfect matchmaking tho)

I almost forgot to mention something funny.

Both Meg and Jake had Urban Evasion

This means they could have saved me no problem in the basement, but nope.

That really sucks. These are the kind of matches where I am just like ...GET ME THE HELL OUT.

Happens so much to when I play solo.

Had that before man heck one game against a Michel that was not stalk abusing and camping got sandbagged by s meg that was at 2 hits blocking me from a pallet or the other day guy hid in a locker until he had birds on him before rescuing me the killer hooked a second person in that time wat I do heal up rescue him and then point him out for hiding again (note killer attacked me and no one died at the end of the game desoite the killer slugging somone they carried them to the exit) I was just getting payback for a deliberate attempt to take me out

Yeah i had a match similar to this, but i was solo, all 3 of my teammates were useless.

I was pretty much looping the killer for half of the match. A 5 minute chase, and only 1 generator was done. The killer wasn't very good, so keeping em' busy was rather easy. After getting hooked and rescued, the killer had gone after one of my teammates. I had a flashlight, so decided to follow him around. After multiple flashlight saves, the others finally got some gens done to get the exits powered. I was injured the entire time. And in the process of getting the exits open, 2 of the idiots got downed and hooked, 3rd teammate escaped and i was injured, not being able to do anything. Ofcourse in post-match chat, they had to blame everything on me, how i was apparently being useless. Whilst i'm the only reason 2 of us even escaped. Although this happened like a year ago, i could never forget this shitfest of a match

oh i feel your pain had survivors in my game rank 10 etc and from the hag when unhooking they couldnt even crouch from the traps im like ######### hell lol .... how did you get too this rank? the solo life is a struggle ....

I see it all too often in Hag games and wonder the same thing. How in the hell have you reached this rank without learning to crouch over traps? Have they not faced the Hag before? Did nobody tell them to crouch? Or do they simply not care when they can get those delicious unhooking points?

Considering most of them unhook and run, I'm tempted to say the latter. Which i guess works out for me when I'm actually playing hag since i trap up the exit and entry routes to the hook rather than just in front. Does catch me quite a few hook farmers.

If you are facing the Hag and you get downed in/near the basement then yes, you are definitely boosted. No matter how much bad your mates played. This is survivor basics.

    It was just bad luck.

The map was shelter woods (there is almost nothing on that map) so I either run in the open and get killed or risk it in the killer shack.

But yes,be edgy and say useless and pointless stuff, that definitely makes you look cooler.

So you made it intentionally, knowing to put at risk your whole team (before knowing if they were good or bad teammates), but I'm the one saying useless and pointless stuff. OK.

You are pointing the finger against your teammates (and I agree, If you described the reality they played really badly), but you were the first one doing the worst bullshit possible against the Hag. Hilarious.

Urban Evasion and Self Care? Sloppy Butcher? Starting a gen near basement? Sounds like they don't have too many hours.

Don't waste your time and move to the next game, sometimes I question how my teammates are actual people.

to be honest i do not understand why self caring against sloppy is that bad. If i do not know here the killer is, and i dont run bond or something I will self care. What is better, "wasting" time healing or getting hooked? (because I am no godlike looper). Also wasting time healing slows down the gen rush, which i hate as survivor too.

I didn't put at risk anyone.

The Hag chose to bring me in the basement,it wasn't my choice.

I didn't choose to "die" by the shack since the pallet was there.

I couldn't have known she had placed traps there .

I didn't have anywhere else to go.

You're just blaming me cause you wanna be edgy, I think you are hilarious.

You didn't put anyone at risk? Guess what, you got hooked in the basement.

Pallet was in the shack. Apparently you got downed anyway and hooked in the basement (and I'm trying to figuring out how since there was the pallet ...).

Couldn't have know Hag places traps in the shack. C'mon here I'm not able to read it without laughing, you cannot be serious.

Didn't have anywhere else to go. It was your first down isn't it? Better to have it in an open space or in the basement? mmmm.

Again, first rule agains the Hag is to don't get downed in the basement. I suppose you already know how much time it takes for someone to unhook you + the time for you to safely escape when there are traps in the basement. It's survivor basics.

But you can still think that I'm edgy and hilarious, I'm not going to spend any additional time explaininn things than each rank 15+ should know.

Have a nice time struggling in the basement! ;)

@Andreyu44 as someone who also plays on PS4. Don't message anyone if your salty, just let it be and play another match. Same thing if someone messages you some salty garbage.

Don't engage it isn't worth it. You are going to get bad teammates and trolls that pull you off the hook without bt in front of the killer and point at you while struggling. You will get camping killers that do nothing all game and wreck a lobby with NOED and message GIT GUD.

It isn't worth it to send these people messages or respond to them. When you combine this behavior with broken aspects of the game it will just make you jaded and not want to play the game anymore.

  • SoylentPixie
    SoylentPixie Member Posts: 1,192

Pretty much what they said. If you feel you can't ignore it, put your messages on friends only. It's just not worth getting into it, you will never get a good response from it and will only stress yourself out all the more, totally not worth it.

    I know.

I've texted them cause Ive never seen anyone playing worse before .

You know what you did wrong. You went in with a 2 man swf when it should of been a 4 man swf.

Nah, sorry for you but I don't play on PS4 nor I play like Jake or the OP.

Not sure what part of the fact that I also agreed with the OP about the rubbish playstyle of his teammates was not clear for you btw ...

god dammit every damn time i play hag i think it is now a high tier killer because survivors these days are ######### scared to even move because "noooo i dont want a screamer :((("

Why do you even buy this game in the first place? smh
