Why is everyone complaining?
I sit and listen to countless people complain about Dead By Daylight. While some issues like window vaults and constantly getting stuck on objects are an issue, I find myself reading and listening to people talk the game down because they either have had a bad experience with the game, or because they just can't keep up with the game's mechanics and refuses to accept that they may be the one's at fault. When I hear someone call the game Sh** because the killer was smart enough to out-juke them or hit them because they failed a 360 urkes me. Dead By Daylight does have issues, but can you name a game that doesn't? Even if you can, its all based on opinions and someone's experience with that particular game, it is not set in stone. All I ask is that before you call the game and the devs down, put yourself in their shoes. Developing and maintaining a game is not easy, it takes hard work, dedication, and commitment. I would even go as far to say anything made by humans is going to have flaws, because the chances of getting it right the first time is next to impossible.

There are issues that have been in this game for so long and the devs still don’t fix the problem. A common thing they do is bandaid the issues instead of actually fixing them. I also work in this field and the fact that totem hiding spots are still meh is pathetic. That is a simple fix; to make sure the hex totems are well hidden on ALL maps. They still have yet to fix that. And that’s just ONE issue out of a plethora of others.

That's what we do. It's what we will do until the day we or DbD die.
DbD without complaining is like cookies without dipping milk.
Perfectly fine but the milk is a common ingredient.

But I'm lactose intolerant! D:

I agree, the community does give the devs a bad rap, but with the 3.0.0 update, almost 10 perks didn't work as intended or were bugged in some degree. It feels since Legion they just stopped caring and just push out content for a quick buck, and hope they did it good enough too get a pass. The community is very "burn first, ask questions later" but the devs also haven't built a good defense lately IMO.

I've had a lot of games where the survivors were not able to find the totems until 1 or 2 gens were left. The main factor here is if survivors know where to look for the totems. Even if they made it more difficult, the maps aren't very big to begin with. Some games you will have your hex destroyed, but the point should be to get as much value as possible before its destroyed. Imagine if NOED was permanent and the survivors weren't able to destroy it.

Couldn't agree more.
There are a lot of edgy guys that complain only for the sake of it.

@Eguzky Then you should know about lactose free low fat milk :)

Right. I have had so many instances where guys have been so disrespectful and hateful simply because they weren't good enough. Most of em need anger management.

It's because its DBD the game people love to hate and turns every gamer into a developer who think they know what's best for the game.
Some complaints to be fair are highly justified but most are over the top.

I do but I call it 'Malk' :P

I agree with you. But people who didn't help develop the game shouldn't be giving hateful speeches, only helpful feedback. I don't think anybody should have that authority, to carelessly disrespect others.

Because human beings are bitter by nature and like to blame their failures on anything but themselves.

@iTz_KilLaZ_x the whole totem thing can't really be helped. Sometimes you find it easy other times you don't. It's really a matter of luck

While I admit I have done the same on occasion, shouldn't we strive to be something better than hateful humans who can't accept when their in the wrong?
2 -
They still have totems spawn right in the open. That could be fixed...

I agree. Killers shouldn't rely on their hex totems to have a good game, they should use the time they have been given.

uh at red ranks without ruin, you will get gen rushed to hell especially if you’re playing one of the m1 killers. The fact that games can end in a matter of minutes is stupid
1 -
Make use of the time you have. You have to balance it out, i have played many matches as killer where ruin was not a factor in my build, and i have very easily gotten 4k, its how you manage your time.
1 -
Its literally impossible to get a 4k against good survivors who finish gens in 4 min and loop good. Nurse and maybe spirit are the exception
1 -
He said at red ranks (i.e. top ranks), not low ranks.
1 -
But its not, I just told you I get 4k without ruin, and with the trapper.

You’re not playing against optimal survivors then.

How you thought I would miss a detail like that shows your arrogance.
0 -
There's only so many survivors at high ranks, it all depends on how you decide to deal with them.

I mean, we should. We as individuals can try.
But I doubt the community of any game as a collective can be that enlightened. That's just the nature of echo chambers: a few people complaining can make such an uproar that it makes the whole community look like whiny scrubs.

Well... People need to learn to think for themselves instead of blindly agreeing with others.
