I’d pay $100 if the devs actually added this mode
Someone just earlier made a post about this but I feel the need to as well because it makes me genuinely excited. Add a first person mode for survivors and call it “hardcore survivor” or something. Grant extra bps for the survivors since the balance will obviously be way in favor of the killer.
I will become a survivor main if they did this. Why? Because first off, there will be a fear factor to survivor again. Remember when you first started playing and you actually feared the killer regardless of who it was? I want that feeling back. I honestly wouldn’t even care if I died 90% of the time. I enjoy a challenge. I love horror and being alert; it’s a big reason why I bought this game.
I understand why survivors are given a 3rd person view obviously. I get it. But generally for players like me with 1000+ hours, survivor is easy especially against m1 killers. I don’t find looping and rushing gens to be intense nor fun. I know many people are not top level survivors and are still learning... which is why I think 1st person view can have it’s own mode.
If the devs were to test this idea, I think tweaking some killers movement speed (specifically for hardcore mode) would be necessary. Looping would be much more difficult obviously. But that’s the point of testing new things out right...? You’ll never know if something’s a good idea unless you try first.

A hard spooky survivor mode would be a lot of fun

Wouldn't they need to make more hiding spots or ways to hide? It'd be hard to loop anything you can't see past and that's the base of what survivors can do in to get away and to give their team enough time to realistically get things done without all of their resources being depleted.

I'd love this.
I'd also love a chaotic 2v8+ mode, as imbalanced as it might be.
This game has a lot of potential for cool game modes. I think we should have more freedom to make custom matches like that.

Yeah they could create some alternative things to survive. More spots to hide, etc. Like I said, maybe lower the killers movement speed. When you hear the heartbeat, you won’t have time to just keep working on gens until the killers real close. You’ll have to actively be on the lookout and prepared.

Wouldn’t the maps have to be bigger for 2v8 though

Until bubba and trapper hit the basement while bubba stair guards trapper traps them learing to downs and hooks normally add in egc and trapped kills

They won't do it. It'll be too hard for survivors and they don't want that.

Interesting, but I may get a heart attack from Spirit, Michael Myers, Ghostface, or Pig grabbing from generators. XD

I posted a idea a while back.
My idea is to vr it. A big map with random way to escape say gas for a car u have to find it and try to fuel up the car or boat or truck .
And like tire and tools and keys. No bp reward no add-ons or perks no one knows how many are on the map. Everyone first person. U can hide lock doors and even hit the killer for a chance to get away. Lol I could see a note telling u the key is in a red book and u looking thou 30 books trying to find it. Before the killer finds you.
I mean with the roster they have it would be fun I'd think.
