Killers should see who is in swf and there should be penalty for dodging.

I either face super tryhard 4man swf or 4 chill dudes who are medicore at best. No in betweens. And killers can't tell in lobby which its going to be. They take good killers with crutch stuff only to demolish chill dudes (literally noone has fun in those games) or take other killers with meme builds just to be destroyed by 4man swf.

Killers should have ability to see who is in swf (and tell the difference between 4 and 2-2) so they can take better crap against them, but there should be also penalty for dodging too much (queue did it relatively ok) so they don't avoid swf, rather have chance to take strong stuff.

The game was never balanced around SWF. Certain abilities should get stronger for the killer if you are SWF. Who needs Bond, when you get it from Discord? Windows of Opportunity? Any of it? They get a dozen perks for free by using a system the game was not balanced around.

This feature would be nice. Que could also automatically pair 4 man swf against low rank killers so that both sides could have a good game.

From the survivors perspective I would like to be able to see the survivors dead by daylight stats. Stuff like how many matches that they dc from, how many times they been rated in each of the areas (thumbs up, harassment, troll, gear, unsportsmanlike).

I would like to just see the devs take a stand against ragequitting. I tracked 30 games the other day, and I think 10+ had ragequitters, another ~8 were lobby simulator or never connected 3 mans, and only about 30% were normal, 5 player games.

@BastardKing I agree, dc as survivor is basically huge help for killers. They think denying bbq stack make good excuse lol, most killers don't care. Should be punished, no exceptions.

But its topic about swf my friend :P

I know, but it was a response to mooseKing's last paragraph about wanting to see how ######### each survivor behaves before game. I was just saying if the dev's took an actual stand on this, we wouldn't even need that; they CAN fix the issue, and choose not to.

With Dedicated servers it'll be easier to track things in real time but you still need to fix the game freeze/crash issue. Since if someone has a game where it's a 3 man stompfest and they load into another game with the same it just feeds on itself.

They can have a full game load in and if they get found 1st, the killers a hard camper (non basement build). Then all that frustration is going to start a chain reaction and it just takes one to get the ball rolling.

Out of all the games last night 20 had people have the loading freeze and we're 3 man games. Then there were all the ones were the killer froze roughly 10 or so, the 1-2 times I froze or could've been killer.

Add to that long lobby wait times and people on both sides dcing the moment the map loads and they don't get what they like. If they can fix the game crash/freeze that'd go so far to reducing a lot of the frustration.

I know that bumping my own thread is meh but i think this needs to be adressed.

It is very common that killer has awful game because 4man swf with only crutches and actually good loopers, sees 4 people loading in the same time in next lobby so takes iridescents just to stomp 4 randoms. No fun for anyone really.

I agree with this. Also, Survivor should see who killer is so they can prepare and take better crap with them.

Punishing lobby dodging when survivors are Disconnecting left and right for even the smallest reasons, sounds to me like a poor choice of prioritation.

I'd love to see a lobby UI element that shows who's in a SWF with who but instead of punishing killers for not wanting to play with the SWF, REWARD them for doing so instead.

You've already seen the anti-camping measures in place that punishes killers for camping but it doesn't actually do anything in reality. Killers who wanna camp gonna camp, no matter how much they get punished for it. Punishment for lobby dodging ain't gonna do #########.

The problem with that would be killers who would focus on the party of 2 which would ruin it for them. If a party of 4 is visible the killer would probably just leave the lobby every time. I think the cons would out weigh the pros here.

@se05239 i meant to punish killers who dodge. With slightly longer queues the more they dodge for example.

@HazeHound Punishing dodgers wouldn't do anything in the long run. Scare off some killers from playing perhaps, or encourage survivors to go more all-out in terms of toxicity since they're less likely to get dodged.

It'll have a negative impact on the game.

I agree... Why punishing people who do not want to face them when you can make SWF something positive that Killers can look out for? 🙂

With that being said i can understand where the others come from. It can be annoying to see constantly killers dodging the lobbies..

I think after the game ends the killer gets a bonus of 5,000 for every survivor they killed who were in a swf.

Only reveal to the killer who was in a swf after the game is over.

I don’t get it, how does an SWF indicator help you to determine whether it’s a 4SWF of super tryhards or a 4SWF of chill dudes?

@rha (<-somehow this doesnt want to work for me) Thing is, even if 4man swf is "chill" they still get unfair advantages of knowing what killer it is almost instantly, having built in every possible aura perk due to communication making every killer genrushable with ease. This game relies on information, and if you have all of this without having to sacrifice even one perk slot that is a problem. You can run exhaustion, adrenaline, borrowed with unbreakable or deliverance yet knowing even more than running full detection build. Does that sound fair to you?

Imagine playing against good Billy with corrupt intervention, bamboozle, enduring with spitit fury somehow knowing all that bitter murmur, bbq, whispers and nurses would tell him.

You want your advantages but but you should be ready to face harder trial in return. Huge chunk of survivors go like "of course she has red hatchets and noed, ######### tryhard", yet still they run nothing but crutches themselves. That would happen very rarely against team of randos if killer could see swf groups.

Or make killer get big bonuses for playing against swf that can exceed 32k. More points for sweaty addons xD.

Edit: Majority 4man swf on rank 5-15 are tryhards due to my experience.

If you want to do well against swf, you need to know in advance. Since it is less obvious whether survivors appearing in the lobby together are swf or not, it is difficult to choose the most suitable loadout.

I wouldn't want to bring in a fun Clown build to face a hardcore try-hard swf squad just like I wouldn't want to bring all my best addons and an ebony mori against 4 solos. Both scenarios result in non-fun games.

I'm against having a penalty for dodging SWFs. You are asking for people to be punished by not wanting to play an objectively worse experience. The game needs to incentize playing against them rather that saying, "If you don't play against this group you're doing a bad thing."

There already is a small penalty for dodging. a 3 minute wait to pretend to form a lobby, even though it usually gets formed empty.

Give more bloodpoints for versing SWF and:

    * SWFs will be happier because they get to play more than 1 game per hour

    * killers who like playing SWF can enjoy their extra bloodpoints

    * non-masochistic killers can play games balanced as originally intended.

    Everybody wins.
