REWORK LEFT BEHIND

Perk should show you hatch aura when it spawns, very easy fix.

No. For solo survivor need speed to open exit gates or maybe can reopen hatch closed for killer.

Wake Up is already a thing.
Keys also exist, they can reopen hatch even if Killer closes it.
I would actually argue Left Behind could give a movement speed increase, but Hope exists.
Maybe you gain the ability to see the Killer's for a extended period of time?
But Dark Sense can do that as well...
Perhaps Left Behind could do something to EGC? Maybe increase the timer...?

Prevent killer closing hatch but Egc starts immediately?

I agree. Give it like 24m / 28m / 32m range of aura reading.

How bout it having an effect similar to BBQ, where it shows the Killer's aura if theyre further than 40m? This would give ya a heads up when your trying to open the door that their coming, and you should hide.

We don't need a perk to further encourage people to use the hatch cause that'll just breed more players who play to get the hatch and just leave their team to die.

That would make Wake Up irrelevant

@ClogWench agreed...i hate hatch campers. They ruin the game.

@LordGlint the hatch in general is a deeply flawed mechanic but one they can't really get rid of at this point. It encourages the worst behavior from players and rewards them for failing with extra BP that truthfully they didn't earn. It also encourages killers slugging for 4k, which is further bad design. Players shouldn't feel required to ruin an experience for someone to be able to win, especially if by that point they've already been doing the best.

@ClogWench Honestly, I think a good fix would be to simply rotate the hatch spawn again before opening it for the last guy, making it IMPOSSIBLE to camp it. The hatch you see when your teammates are alive disappears and it reappears in a different location. I also did a thread the other day where the emblem system could treat hatch camping in a similar manner as it treats killers hook camping.

@LordGlint the problem with that is that survivors still play to find the hatch even if they don't know where it is. If the game is going poorly early on a lot of survivors will hide and not contribute so they can have even a CHANCE of finding it. I like your idea of the hatch respawning but I think I'd couple it with a change to finding it with less than 2 gens done. Maybe once one survivor is left EGC triggers instantly instead of when the hatch is closed, or even have the hatch not appear at all still and have EGC trigger anyway. The hatch should not be a reliable escape method

How about this for a rework:
"You have to escape... No matter the cost. Once you are the last Survivor remaining, the hatch's aura is shown to you for 5/7/9 seconds, and the Exit Gate's red lights do not light up when opening the gate."
You can't just gift a free escape, so this still makes the Survivor work for it by beating the Killer straight to the Hatch OR opening an exit gate, in which even without red lights is still risky. Buffing the exit gate opening speed clashes with Wake Up anyways.
This does make the Killer work more since he knows the survivor knows exactly where the hatch is, but without the red lights on the exit gates alerting the killer that someone is around it makes it much more mind-gameable and gives the survivor a chance.
However, the disadvantage the Killer has with this buff is evened out by the survivor equipping a worthless perk until the last 60 seconds of the game.
Also a nice meme build can be built with No One left behind, Hope, Wake Up, and Iron Will to be worthless all game and become a monster at the EGC lol

Left Behind
Extends the duration of the EGT by X amount. You leave no scratch marks for X seconds whenever you leave the exit gate box (not sure what its called officially. For clarity what I mean is that so long as you interact with the box you will trigger this effect once you leave the interaction).
Can help you "tap" the gates and run off without leaving a big trail. This way you get a bit more time on the EGT so you can play it safer with the gate.

Like this, but add action speed, but only as the last survivor.

Yes, maybe I should have clarified but I figured it would still keep the perks "Last alive" mechanics.
