DBD - Your game is boring with these new sound settings
Please revert them, sound is important for getting immersed in a game.

So being able to hear stuff ruins the immersion for you? Obvious bias much?
24 -
Boring is subjective, i feel way better with hearing the sounds i need to hear.

Somebody PLEASE get Ash an inhaler!

Living the current sound, so much for audio like breathing and footsteps.

What sounds that are fixed makes the game boring get out of here

"Please revert them, getting killers' ears blasted by loud music lets me win chases more often"
There, fixed it for you.
16 -
Very boring it is.
Now when in a chase you don't notice it before killer hit you because the music is so low ? OH I WAS IN A CHASE you say, wops that wasn't very exciting.
2 -
I'm pretty sure that you as survivor suck at looping by blaming chase music too low that causing you to get hit.
And I also pretty sure you're survivor main and never play killer at all.
It's obvious.

Make sounds great again!!! The huntress directional lullaby is not working either :/
4 -
There are a lot of sound issues as of now. It can make the game a total pain.
2 -
I can literally hear the russle of grass, the sound of footsteps and hear things through walls.
Its amazing! How's that boring?
8 -
Because every bad survivor main can't play with their precious advantages.

This reply made me chuckle, thanks

I love how you claim you care about the important sounds but then immediately list 2 less important sounds first in your list, not to mention you listed one of them twice. If you can't tell when you get into a chase in the current iteration of the game, no amount of sounds are going to help you against a skilled killer.
I'll admit that chainsaws, blinks, and terror radius is important, but chainsaws are the only one on that list that I can't remember hearing recently, and the rest are definitely audible.
This is another clear cut case of a survivor wanting the music to be ridiculously loud and breathing/footsteps to be inaudible because of personal bias. Made completely obvious by the fact that music is both the first and last thing on your list.

You must really like video games to take it so seriously, that's interesting

I bet you do, that's over 100 days. 100 straight and real time days flown away and gone.

The sound needed fixing before, the music in general was way too loud. But now it's the exact opposite - I can't hear ANY music, so I barely get to know if I'm in a chase or not or how near the killer is. The heartbeat is too quiet and diffuse, aswell as many other killer related sounds (Mikey leveling up, huntress lullaby, chainsaws etc). I'm not saying revert the sound, but definitely fix it. It needs to be fair and feel good for both sides.

Then make most of it before it runs out, using up for one thing isn't good

Tasty, I like that. Saying feelsbadman made me chuckle, thanks

The devs can fix the sounds survivors hear, but leave the sound killers hear alone. I was finally able to hear footsteps and breathing as a killer.

Sounds are supposed to be like this. The only thing that is bugged is the chase music for survivors. Sometimes it doesn't play when in a chase. Otherwise, this is how everything is supposed to sound. It's been bugged for a long time and they finally got them working again. Some of you don't know this because you haven't played for the last 2-3 years but at one point, survivors were even louder than this. Be grateful.

No. You couldn't even hear a gen through a wall with the old sounds. Now you can hear a lot better for killers and survivors. The sounds need too stay otherwise red rank killer would be 10x harder.

Finally, after 3 months of being deaf, i can hear a survivor again. So pls, at least try do not mess the sounds again.
Huntress lullaby seems pretty broken, agreed, needs to be fixed.
But it looks like the sounds are not broken for everyone, playin with friends prove, that they have inconsistent heartbeats, while mine was consistent, same with Billys chainsaw. Just guessing, the sound issues are not only game-based...
Btw, playing killert with 80% and survivor with 30% volume.

I have to disagree, I like not being ear banged every time I am chasing or being chased by the dann music
1 -
When someting gets fixed after being broken so long you got used to it.
Dont worry, the devs will make it easier for survivors again (read: break it) when they ineviteably touch the engine or sound settings again

Idk what to say except this sums threads about sounds.
Its soo much ######### beyyer to hear things now.

Better*. Cant even edit the comment on phone so i have to post yet again.

I never said anything about looping or getting hit was a problem. Only the music that is imporatnt to the overall immersion of the game.

Survivor sounds are okay. I would re-do the breathing on survivors that barely moved and breathe as if they've run a 10 km race tho.
On the other hand, gens are too loud (if you're repairing a gen you can't hear a single thing), heartbeats are too low, the lullaby is broken (you can hear the lullaby and think the huntress is near but then you see someone being downed on the other side of the map), Myers tier lvls are almost inaudible, you can't trust the chase music because the killer is still after you but the music stopped already, Myers chase music is sometimes inaudible or it's simply not there.
This is on PS4, I don't know about pc. I tried it on two different tvs and I can say the tv system makes it worse or better since I could barely play on one of them because my eardrums were about to go kaboom while I can play on the other one but have to make an extra effort to be able to hear some things.

Some sounds could do with a slight tweak for survivor but as killer it is alot better and takes me back to what DBD was before the sound bugs were introduced.
I think the sounds are far better now.

They say, while continuing to waste time arguing with a forum member about wasting time.
