Why is it so dark, I understand it's a horror game but I feel like I have to squint my eyes when playing Survivor or Killer...

I just adjust the gamma on my monitor.

Same thing happened to me a couple months ago. A week later my tv died (PS4, btw).
Now I have a new tv and everything’s great! Turns out the problem was on my end, not the developers’.
