Ghostface chasing Laurie strode
This would be kind of awkward in lore because the movie Halloween still exists in the Scream universe. Ghostface even watched Halloween and was a big fan of horror movies. So it would be really awkward and confusing for him to be chasing Larue Strode when she's not even supposed to be real for him. How can these two coexist when one character is literally a movie character inside the other's universe?

Laurie* Strode by the way up at that one part. My computer's being really slow for some reason today ):

Uh....the entity can do as it damn well pleases! LOL

Well it isn't the same Ghostface from Scream so.... :/

Remember, "ghostface" is not a character, but many characters wearing the same mask to cover their crimes

That would mean though that Laurie is actually an illusion.

But it's still in the Scream Universe, in which Halloween is still some old horror movie made in 1978. So no matter who's the person behind the mask, the entity made Laurie Strode, she can't naturally coexist unless the entity just snatched a girl from a nearby universe that happened to have an event that was almost the exact same as what happened in the Halloween movie.

The entity can pull people from different dimensions.

No, the DBD version of Ghostface is not from the Scream universe, even though there are a number of references to the Scream films. Plus...it's just a game.

The two coexist because the GhostFace we see isn't the one from the Scream universe. Problem easily solved. The Scream universe, despite being referenced, isn't canon to DBD even when factoring in alternate dimensions.

Scream 1: Billy Loomis and Stu Macher, two teenagers who loved horror films from 1996
Scream 2: Mickey Altieri, in it for the money, and Debbie Loomis, wanting to avenge her son from 1997
Scream 3: Roman Bridger, the man behind all of the murders 2000
Scream 4: Jill Roberts and Charlie Walker, in it for the fame from 2011
DBD: Danny Johnson, a psychopathic news reporter from 1993
The Ghost Face is from before ANY of the Scream movies. He is a different character.

Danny is not a Ghostface from the Scream movies and universe. Just a reporter who has a dark and twisted pastime that includes wearing the iconic mask. Plus, the Entity is above the boundaries of reality and universality. She plucks who she wants from whatever universe. Meaning, yes, in one universe Halloween did happen. She grabbed Laurie, yes, the real Laurie and plopped her into her private realm.

The entity's a girl?

First of all, Ghostface is not the one from the movies. If we want to play using alternate universes theories, including ours, the Peanut eyed ghost mask existed even before the movie, so it is possible for Olsen's to also have it and due to olsen's actions the movie using a different mask, which would actually explain why he uses a different robe.
Not to mention entity drags people from different dimensions, for example one where the world was overrun by a disease called the green flu.

Yeah. There's discussions on it. To dumb it down, in French, every noun is gendered and the Entity is gendered with "La", meaning it's a female noun.

What about the other license survivors? ghostface also had to see saw and nightmare on elm street (2010), so he identified the detective tapp and quentin smith as well

Okay, again, Ghost Face is from 1993. Saw was released in 2004 and Nigtmare on Elm Street (2010) was released in... do I even have to say it? He literally COULDN'T have seen them.

That's only because the French language doesn't have a word for "it." "La" is just a replacement, so the Entity is still genderless imo.

Multiverse? my understanding was the entity can take people from whatever world it pleases.
Also this is a different Ghostface too, potentially from another realm to the movie version.

Entity does what she wants. That's how.

Ghostface in the realm of the entity... isn't from Scream. They made a completely new character for that chapter. So yeah. Not really an issue.

This Ghostface is not the one from Scream, is basically an original character
