Is Bubba viable in red ranks?
Hullo peoples, as you can probably tell by my username, I Main Bubba. I have almost 300 hour exclusively in Bubba. I’m at rank 12 and considering climbing with him. Is there any red rank bubba players that know how it is that can tell me if he’s viable in high ranks?

Every M1 killer without map pressure is as (un)viable as any other. Next week its time for monthly reset so that means all the boosted survivors have also already reached red ranks. So I'm sure you will do just fine on most games.
If you want to have success vs good survivors I'm afraid your killer options are very limited.

I Just play for fun and never really pay attention to ranks but recently I’m curious to see if I can rank up and the only killer I’m comfortable playing is bubba

I think I got to rank 5 with Bubba but I don't have many hours with him. From what I have seen and experienced he is not red rank viable in my opinion unless you go full tryhard every game which will drain your soul. I don't see many streamers playing him either, if there is one playing him at red ranks I would love to see it.
Myers is probably the best licensed killer atm and you can play him at red ranks. Some people call him unviable but I always manage to get to rank 1, so I disagree. And I am not even that good.

Yep he is very viable and I speak as a bubba main with 1k hours in this game. I'm always rank 1 playing 70% of my games as bubba. The only problem is that you need a very good build and good addons to be able to 4k a group of good survivors. Leatherface is the killer who punishes mistakes the most. And he has no real chase power so you have to be very good at mindgames to be able to down the best survivors. I love playing bubba with instasaw because I destroy pallets instantly, if you find a survivor who camps pallets at the start of the game in 1-2 minutes you have half of the map cleansed of pallets lol. Maybe you will struggle with genrushers but that happens with every killer but nurse/billy/spirit.
Take in mind that a killer with instadown will never be bad. In my opinion the best build for leatherface at red ranks is BBQ, Ruin, Enduring and Spirit Fury. Addons i recommend Carburettor Tuning Guide + The Beast's Marks, Primer Bulb + Carburettor Tuning Guide, The Grease + Carburettor Tuning Guide, or if you want a meme build but more effective than people think you can try The Beast's Marks + Knife Scratches.

Nope I don't sorry ^^'. Im not a streamer yet xD. I have some screenshots in my profile which show that I 4k with bubba even with troll builds if you are bored you can check them out
A few months ago I did a very good game with meme addons but I depipped despite killing 2 survivors and doing 10 hook events and getting 28k bloodpoints lol.
I guarantee you that I 3k/4k super consistently I can't understand how many people think LF is one of the worst killers. He's got a freakin' instadown and destroys pallets fast as ****

I don't doubt you. I was just curious because I hardly see anyone playing him enough in red ranks. I would love to see more Bubba games, Clown is also fun to watch.

Myers viability is solely dependent on his stealth. If you cannot maintain stealth, or SWF know your position, you are no better than a M1 aside from the fact that you can sometimes ignore BT.

Yeah swf is tough against stealth killers. But not every game is 4man swf.

I'd say yes, Bubba can be a threat in the red ranks when played with the right build. He will suffer against highly coordinated teams, but that's just the way it is for almost every other killer.
My build 1 is Agitation, BBQ, Enduring, Spirit Fury. Carburator tuning + either primer bulb or grease.
Build 2 is Nurse's calling, Deerstalker, M&A, BBQ. Same addons always.
If you get good at swinging the chainsaw while turning around obstacles, your Bubba will be a threat.
Besides, he gets the benefit of being severely understimated by survivors, so they usually play dumber against him. Take advantage of it.
Just don't go for the meme camp "strategy", it will only make you end up with 1k at the most.

He's got one solid build as @Groxiverde showed, but other than that you're going to have a bad time.
