How do you play Legion?
I feel like Legion's power is completely useless to an extent. You can't down with feral frenzy anymore which makes you susceptible to looping. Mending is really quick, so survivors can just hop back on gens in a matter of seconds should you decide to leave the chase. How exactly are you supposed to play Legion? I want to see the potential in them but matches against skilled survivors have convinced me that their power is useless.

It's borderline useless, yes. Once you get past about purple ranks, he becomes ultimately useless. Unless you're a living god like many of the content creators we see who do stupid ######### and still dominate. But, besides the point. If you're low rank, here's how you play him.
Step 1: Smack ######### everything. When you start, always ff (feral frenzy, remember that cause I'm not referencing what ff is again) them, and look for nearby survivors. If there's one close enough to hit, always go for them and extend out the damage. Continue until you know you can't reach someone. How do you know? Well, that's just practice unfortunately. You learn.
Step 2: Pick someone. Once you've hit everyone you can, pick someone (usually the last guy you hit) and dedicate to the chase. I recommend letting them hit you with the pallet, since his stun is so bullshit long that a pallet stun is faster than his self stun. Chase like normal until they're down or you need to leave.
Step 3: Reapply damage. Once you've gotten a hook, go back and start looking again. Once you find someone, go back to step 1 and repeat all the way down .
To make this work to its full potential, I have some recommended loadouts:
Ruin. Guaranteed loss if you don't run this.
Thanataphobia. They're gonna be injured basically all game. Take advantage of it.
Sloppy Butcher. Punish them for healing / discourage healing at all. If they never heal, you're an always instant down killer.
Barbeque and Chili. Make sure you always, always, always have someone to damage. Find 1 and you find them all.
Other good perks: PGTW, good perk in general. Remember Me, easy stacks early game. NOED, if you really struggle, or adrenaline consistently ######### you. Enduring / Spirit Fury: Makes ending ff equivalent to that of pre-nerf. With added bonus of breaking the pallet.
Addons: never use pins. Ever. They're completely useless. All of them.
Never use extended range unless paired with longer FF. Useless otherwise.
Blades, yes. Especially paired with longer FF, makes overall survivor mend time take forever.
Longer FF: almost always.
Reduced cooldown: just eat pallets. Easier. Use this if you really hate eating pallets, but even then the pallet is still faster + you get a pallet gone.
Never use iri tape. Useless. Iri button is awesome.
Never use shortened timer or the ability to down with FF. Both are 200% useless.
Bonus tips: Never swing unless you know you're gonna hit them. Swing at the very tail end of your FF for extra distance. Don't be afraid to swing through pallets, especially with pallet eater. Get close before swinging, 360 Legion is easy and guarantees lost chase. Don't be afraid to give up a chase. He cannot stop looping at all and therefore is subject to m1 killer rules (meaning some loops you just have to give up because taking them costs you the game)
Overall rule: some games, if the survivors know how to deal with Legion, are unwinable. If the survivors know what they're doing, just leave. He's in such a sorry state right now that sometimes it's literally impossible for you to win.

That is pretty much what Legion is now - a standard M1 killer who actually hurts himself by using his "power". The forums are full of Legion posts right now and BHVR even answered one of them, the explanation however was lacking. They always tell us that "counterplay" was the main reason for the nerf, fair enough - BUT where is counterplay against a Nurse? You won't find a legit answer to that.
I believe the devs still believe that the changes were justified, even with Legion being the only killer in the popular tags list. #fixlegion

How I use Legion:
- Free first hit
- Locate people (if you return to hook and see the injured person, you can hit them to find the Blendette crawling away)
- Get somewhere fast (not as fast as before, but still zooom)
- Spread deep wound

I wouldn't. Refund him if you can. Wait for Mid-Chapter. They might do something about Legion. If they don't, wait 2 more years.

How exactly would you refund something like that? There is nothing in their blogpost about Legion so I highly doubt it.

Two weeks policy. I'd ask for a refund if you happen to have bought him since less than 2 weeks.

- Unfortunately not. I bought them on release and just started trying to figure out how to play him after the rework
- Does that apply for every store? Or just for Steam? Cause my platform is PS4

- They're not good.
- I think each platform has a different policy. Steam has 2 weeks and less than 2 hours for each game refund. For a DLC, you can't consume it in any way and 2 weeks. I don't know for PS4 nor xbox. Also, for Auric cell purchases i think you contact BHVR support directly. I suggested the refund because i thought it would do something and it is harmless.

Honestly he's hopeless right now and needs a full damn rework.

Damn right he does!

Yeah, I figured out they weren't good. Just thought I'd see if there were any ways around his major weaknesses, but apparently not considering just how many weaknesses he has.

He really does! Ironic how we need a rework because of the rework isn't it?

At least everyone else has some use out of their power. The only other person directly countered in Plague by not cleansing. Leatherface is low tier by lack of map pressure but he still has an insta-down, Clown has good chase potential and Trapper can make loops unusable. I do agree though that this rework was terrible. He needed counterplay but christ they practically killed them.

I disagree with the iri tape, it works quite well for a gen build, you know where they are working and where to use pop goes the weasel for the best results.
