How old are the killers?

Adonisadon234
Adonisadon234 Member Posts: 147

The question is the title. I know that the 2 oldest killers are nurse and huntress. But i'm curious to what everyone's age is.

    It's hard to say really...

To me they seem fairly modern 20-40 years back at most.

Plague is the oldest DbD character though not nurse or huntress.

One of the ones we know for sure is Frank, he's 19.

The Plague is at least 4000 years old, if we were to measure the time that passed from her birth until now. However, time in the Entity's realm doesn't work the way we're used to.

I think they said a long time ago that the Nurse was one of the first Killers in the Entity's Realm and that she was the oldest (I think she was around 40 or something).

Frank is 21 (or 20), Julie and Joey are 18 and Susie is 16.

    Rin is 18-19

Trapper and Wraith are probably in their 30s

    Adiris is probably late 20s

Well it depends on whether or not your talking about how old they are or how old they are counting the years in the entity's realm. We can't add on how long they've been in the entity's realm but its pretty easy to assume how old everyone else is.

    So, in their current bodies:

Evan, Philip, Max are likely late 30's

Sally and Anna are late 20's

    Micheal is 21

    Herman is likely early 40's

    Lisa is 24

    Amanda is 28

    Rin is 21

    Frank is 19

    Joe is 18

    Julie is 17

    Susie is 16

    Adiris is late 20's

Olsen will likely be in his teens.

    @drekin7979

Susie is a sophomore meaning she's around 15 or 16

We don't know that much about Joey

And Julie is a senior so she is 17 or 18

I'm surprised that they made any of the killers/survivors under 18.

Pretty Sure Hag would be the 2nd oldest killer, or close. Steam Paddles we're invented in the late 1700's. Now this doesn't really help too much because it says in the lore that this is an ancient piece that's been there for years, long before the first inhabitants of the village arrived. How ever one thing that could be helpful is there are light bulbs around The Pale Rose and there are lanterns around the pier and on some of the boats. So maybe around the time the light bulb was first invented (Late 1800's), I know its a long stretch but the best I could find.

Nurse’s lore states worked as a nurse for 20+ years so she couldn’t be in her late 20’s, if anything the youngest she could be is 40 if she and Andrew married in their late teens.

if it's about the time they were born it is easy, people have already told you.

If it's about years being alive it's harder since we don't know how the entity's realm work, for example if we go by dates, Susie would be close to 40 years old, if we are supposed to think time in the entity's realm is somewhat limited to ours, that means that for example, they were abducted in 1996, and then 14 years later, Freddy and Quentin were dragged in, and 23 years have passed since they first joined the entity.

    @LancerCain

The RAM of The Entity has already been confirmed to be a timeless place you don't age from when you were brought in.

Which would mean the Legion are still in their teens.

Susie being roughly about 16 or 15 so far the youngest member of the legion until stated otherwise probably will get more information with the archives

Frank 19, Julie 17/18 and Joey is probably about 18.

Whichever age that people like nurse, spirit and all of them were brought in to is the age they remain.

If that wasn't the case then huntress would be an old decrepit Woman by this point

Didn't the doctor work for the CIA on a black site where he tortured detainees for information. I'm pretty sure that would at the earliest been born around the 1960's.

  • LancerCain
    LancerCain Member Posts: 72

Their bodies don't age, but that doesn't mean they don't grow older mentally, as you can see from Benedict's Journal they do perceive "time" they perceive a now and a before, so even if her body hasn't change one bit, if entity's realm is limited to ours 23 years have passed since she was abducted, and in a way she is a very hormonal and underdeveloped 40 years old woman.

I think the implication is that he was part of project MKUltra, so he'd have to have been born much earlier than that.

I really dislike The Legion. They feel really out of place in this game, the lore page for them is really cringy and needs a rewrite at least.

I also don’t know who at BHVR thought a bunch of edgy teenagers would be scary or fit the game at all.

The design of the characters themselves isn’t bad, the lore is just really silly and even has typos in it.

Things like the vending machine and all the security cameras around the lery's map made me think it was more modern then that but both existed in the 1950's

I actually wanted to figure out the times they were taken, judging by that info you could probably estimate how old they all are.

Plague being the farthest time period from Babylon, judging by how she looks she was probably 40. Old enough to be a high priestess.

Huntress is next with being taken from WW1, confirmed by Dave in a dev stream, judging from her appearance she would also be in her 40s.

Devs confirmed that Huntress was the oldest time period wise, that means Trapper is next because of the factory his dad owns. He is most likely 1920s putting him in his 30s

Hillbilly is next with it probably being 1929 because of the crash in the economy. Farmers were trying to sell off their land at this time and being with no one on the land it wasn’t up for grabs but no one wanted it. He would probably be in his 30s in game.

Wraith is next with 1930s because car manufacturing. Crushing cars during this time would explain why there were bodies in every car. Money. Azarov took bribes to get money because the economy was crashing so it was a good way to make an income. He appears to be in his 30s

Nurse with the WW2 Uniform gives us her time period of being a nurse in WW2, as in she was working when the US entered the war. 1941-1945 is the likely date, and she worked at the asylum for two decades making her over 40 years old.

The Doctor would be next because of electroconvulsive therapy. He worked for the CIA. He didn’t start off instantly, so give a few years and probably 1950 is when he was hired. Seeing as how it’s the Cold War, he would use the shock therapy on spies. Herman would probably in his 40s.

Hag is a mystery to me. The giant boat, the piers, all of it. But the fog horn might be the clue. I honestly don’t know, she has the most interesting backstory here because it’s hard to pinpoint when she was taken. But she seems to be in her 30s maybe late 20s in game.

Clown is our next killer and he is the easiest one. Or one of the easiest. His exact year of being taken is 1964 his bio tells it to us exactly if you add up the dates. Yes it says he’s been roaming the country, but it doesn’t state for how long. So he could still be in 1964. Subtract the two years from when he was taken, and when he was born and you get 32 at the least.

Spirit is next and what confuses me as well is the oni mask, the building looks old (could be wrong and it’s fairly modern.) The katana used to kill her, all of it. But she has a job, she’s in school. And Adam’s backstory might help because there are trains from the time period. (Could be wrong again.) She might be from the 1970s. Her school girl outfit suggests high school but I would think college instead. So she is in her early 20s.

Legion is obvious when they get taken. Their map offering states “Aug. 28th, ‘96” A photo of the members of Legion taken in 1996. Frank was stated as being 19, Julie given the time of being taken, was 17. Susie would be 15 which would explain why she didn’t want to kill the Janitor. Joey not having anything stated, would make sense to be 17 as well given his stature and build that we see in game. Trusty pixel measurements would work as well, figure out how tall he is, find the corresponding average height for age, and you have Joey’s age.

Mr. Johnson is 1993 as stated in the news paper he reads which is only a week old. Given the height for the game he would probably be in his 30s. He’s old enough for a job, he’s old enough to travel. And he’s old enough to commit murder in a smart way. Stalking his victims and learning their routines before he strikes, he understands how to do this, and it looks like he’s been doing it for awhile.

As the person who made an entire thread about the Killer timeline, I just want to make a few statements about your timeline.

Trapper's backstory seems to indicate that unions are picking up speed, around 1954ish. Also, just a slight nitpick, Archie MacMillan owned the entire estate; which consists of a factory, mine, storehouse, his house (that I don't believe we see) and several other things we may not see. Just saying he owned the factory is not giving him enough credit.

The description of the Thompson House in Coldwind Farm states "After the horrific events of 1972, the building fell into disrepair and eventual ruin," putting Hillbilly here.

Azarov is a Russian surname, and his way of disposing of bodies is incredibly mob-like. The Russian mob was pretty active in the 90s. Also, Wraith is an African immigrant. Do you really expect him to have a job crushing cars in the 30s? Not saying it's impossible, but super unlikely.

Thanks to fellow forum member Rattman, I learned that Doctor's interrogation went on through the 70s until the institute was condemned in 1983.

I had a lot of trouble with Spirit too, so don't feel bad about this one. She went to Takamatsu University, which was established in 1996.

Just a few things I wanted to point out. Also, I don't think anyone really knows where Hag is from.

All of your points are valid, and I can agree on them. But I don’t think Doctor was 70s, could I be wrong? Yes. But giving the time for the CIA, Electroconvulsive therapy, and the building he worked at, 50s seems more appropriate. But hey, these are all speculations and it’s fun to try to figure his out, together.

"By 1970, the Institute was fully transformed into a CIA black site with special requirements to develop cutting-edge interrogation techniques and they employed a wide range of different doctors and specialists to help them. The Institute thrived through the 70's growing to a staff of hundreds, filling the main hospital and several out-buildings.

Documents and evidence about the Institute is scarce as the government condemned the entire building in 1983, even razing most of the building to the ground in what seemed to be planned explosive demolition."

These are the lines that led Rattman and me to this conclusion (and I can't un-italicize this for some reason, so...). Hope this clears it up.

It was from the official game website, and later added to the game's wiki (trying to get you a link for the website, but not having any luck with it, so here's the wiki page instead)

Okay, thank you. And yeah, that would mean the Doctor was taken from 1970-1983. Always forget about the maps under kyf, that’s where some of the years are stated for certain killers. Except hag... hag is a pain to figure out.

I thought that The doctor was from the 70s because I was reading the lore of Lerys institute and I do believe all the debacle was around 1970 (just checked the CIA transformed it in the 70's so that what time period the doctor is from.

It's hard to know how old they are, because they arrive from different time periods all the time. However, we can put it into context next to survivors, who tend to be from modern times (Benedict Baker and Vigo are exceptions, of course).

Here's the ages (Relative to survivors, and my rough guesses, even if they don't physically age, they are still gaining years):

    1. Plague: 1000s of years old.
    2. It's hard to pin down the Hag's age, due to her growing up isolated from civilization. However, the waterlogged shoe infers either Native America, Africa, or Pacific Islands. If Native America, that would be the early 1800s, but if pacific islands then it could be anywhere from 1700s-1900s. Africa could even be today, it's just unknown. However, going by the map, I'm going to assume Native America. So, that would make her at least 200 years old.
    3. Huntress: From WW1, makes her around 100 years old.
    4. Nurse: I assume it's from around the post-WW1 era, due to the hard times referenced and the garb being an evolution of WW1 nurse garb. This makes her around 90 years old.
    5. The Clown was confirmed to have been born in 1932, making him 87 years old.
    6. I think Billy and Trapper are from the 1950s, but it's not clear. Around 70 years by my estimation.
    7. I think Doctor is from the 1960s, due to his affiliation to the CIA and his role as an information extractor from spies (presumably communist). This would make him at least 20 around that time, so he should be around 89-90 years old by now.
    8. I think Wraith is from the 1960s-1980s, due to his occupation and relation to the mob, but like Trapper and Billy, it is not clear.
    9. Texas Chainsaw Massacre takes place in the 70s-80s. That makes LF roughly 50-60 years old.
    10. Freddy Krueger is from the 70s, making him roughly 60 years old.
    11. Halloween takes place in the 80s, making Myers 50 years old or so.
    12. The Spirit is from Japan when it was becoming automated. This occurred around the 1990s, so I can assume she is around 30 years old.
    13. Ghostface's earliest newspaper clipping we can read is in 1993, so we can assume he was 21-30 years old at that publication. So, we can assume he is around 46-50 years old.
    14. Pig is from Saw, which takes place in the early 2000s, so around 30 years old.
    15. Legion is probably the youngest at middle 2000s, since they're still 19 years old.

We can pin down Deathslinger to his early 40s.

We know he started working for bayshore when he 'came of age' (or a similar wording), so given the time he'd be around 16-18. Let say it didn't take long for bayshore to sell off caleb's patents, so the assault happened maybe 1-2 years later, making Caleb 18-20, maybe 21. That was in 1860, as we know from Zarina's lore. 15 years in prison, 6 years as bounty hunter makes 21, bringing caleb to somewhere between 39-42.

You don't age in the Entity's realm it's timeless. If you get taken to it at the age of 20 you remain 20 until you leave.

For example the Legion were taken around 1996. If they did age they definitely wouldn't still be teenagers.

Amanda was taken when she was 33

Myers would be 21 or 22

    Only Frank is 19

    Julie is 17 - 18

Susie is contentious but most likely is 15 - 16 until proven otherwise

    Joey who knows

Okay, I'm just going to say the time periods of where each killer is from, based on what I seen and reading yours

NOTE: these are estimates and I could be wrong on certain killers, I'm just guessing, also I'm not saying how old they are, but rather what era they're from when they were taken, and I'm saying this based on quick research, looking at your comment and their appearance.

Trapper - according to a calendar in the Ironworks of Misery map, it's dated in the 1970s (forgotten the certain date, but I remember it saying that) so it's most likely he's from the 1970s

Hillbilly - I would say around 1960s - 1970s, in his memories, he had interest in TV

Wraith - when Phillip was a kid, Nigeria was formed, which (if I read the wiki correctly) was in the 1960s, meaning that grown up Wraith would be around 1980s to 1990s

Nurse - during war times, so around 1920s to 1940s

    Shape - he's from the 1970s

Hag - based on the cutscene and the clothes, Hag seems to be from the 1970s

Doctor - based on the date on the map description and the look of the map, I say between 1970s to 1980s

Huntress - from WW1 times so late 1910s

Cannibal - according to what I read, he's from late 1960s to early 1970s

    Nightmare - he's from late 2000s

    Pig - she's from 2000s

Clown - he was born in 1932, and since one of his add-ons is 'VHS Porn' that means he's somewhere between 1980s - 1990s

Spirit - I can see her being from the 1990s to 2000s

    Legion - they're from the 1990s

Plague - she's from the Babylonian times so that's 1800s BC to 1500s BC (according to quick research)

Ghost Face - according from the news report on his backstory, he's from the 1990s

    Demogorgon - it's from the 1980s

Oni - he is Spirit's Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather, using a rough estimate of each great as 30 - 50 (plus 60 - 100 for father and grandfather) that would put him around 1700s - 1800s

Deathslinger - he's from old western times, so that's around the 1860s - 1890s (according to quick research)

Executioner - according to quick research on Silent Hill timeline, he would be in the 1990s

Blight - based on his clothes and the fact that the East India Company was still a thing, it's most likely he's from the Victorian era so around 1840s to 1860s
