Someone has seen MoM since the massive nerf?

I didn't see anyone, but in the PTB they fixed this... "Fixed an issue that caused the Mettle of Man perk to remove the Dream State when triggered", so I think devs probably think survs use it anyway.

I've seen it a few times with altruistic survivors. It's on par with most perks now; not meta but you see it occasionally.

I've seen it a grand total of 2 times since the nerf.

Once on someone who basically got themselves killed trying to get protection stacks while I was carrying other survivors, once on a genuine hero of a Bill that saved everyone's life at least once by taking a hit for them, me included. That guy honestly deserved it 😄

I use it sometimes when I play bodyblocker build. Unlike others I bough Ash DLC after the MoM nerf and I like MoM how it is. It's as good as your normal off meta perk can be which is just fine.

I use sometimes when I'm feeling bold, but otherwise, I'll stick to something else.

Btw, the perk is very buggy due to the protection hit detection. I explain everything more in detail in my thread:

I've seen some survivors with it equipped, but I've never had it proc on me (as killer, I don't use it when I play survivor) since the nerf.

It's probably pretty rare now. You have to actively be taking hits and most people don't play that way. I was able to get it off, but I literally had to chase after people to take hits to prolong their loops. Most higher ranks know where to go, though, and you don't get situations (while solo) where you can pull it off. Or, at the very least, you won't get it off most games. Protection hits are inconsistent, too. Sometimes it won't register.

I haven't played much since the balance change, but I didn't see it, no.

Oh, sure. I see it along with Unrelenting, Shadowborn, PWYF, Remember Me, and Dying Light.

It deserved what it got and imo everyone who bought Ash for the perk got what they earned

I never used it much like old DS, but as killer it never really bothered me. Honestly they should have kept it at the safe hook rescue or protection hit, but put a cd so you can't get 2 stacks in a row. WGLF has an internal cd so not sure why they couldn't do a 15 sec cd to let both get stacks. I honestly hate the WGLF cd because there've been times that I've taken a hit, popped an instant, and taken another that let the survivor get off because dumb killer went in a new direction towards a pallet, which should have been 3 stacks and I got 1. Still would have done what I did, but it's just a BP increase.

I used Mettle of Man in a altruism build that consisted of Mettle of Man, We'll Make It, Borrowed Time and We're Gonna Live for Ever.

It pretty much forces you to never do gens and constantly be a pest to the killer. The worst park is that if you get it active it's usually really close to the killer and they'll just come and knock you. Plus the aura reading is a giant pain in the ass.
