Prayer Beads needs a downside
Spirit addon called Prayer Beads is ridiculous, let's be honest. The only big concern many people have with this addon are the free grabs. All a Sprit has to do is hiding behind something outside of terror radius and void grass or corn while Phasing to a gen: easy grab.
How to fix? Prayer beads necklace needs a downside. And I got a good idea for a downside fixing the free gen grabs but maintain the scary jumpscare factor of it.
Simply give this addon the downside of having a delay to attack after coming out of Phasing. This allows the survivor to react to it and let go of holding M1 preventing a grab. The delay shouldn't be to long tho.

Can we please start referring to this by its proper name: Prayer Beads Necklace? There is another item in the game actually called Prayer Beads and the cognitive dissonance is driving me to shitpost.

That would completely invalidate its entire purpose. A more valid downside is if survivors could hear one of her shrieks every time she went into the phase realm outside their terror radius. Then they would have to risk stopping what they're doing every single time or just make progress.

Killer: Gets an addon just so the killer can get grabs
Survivors: "Make them unable to grab!"
Me: "######### is the point of them then? Make sprint burst not exhaust you, but make slow you down by 50% for 5 seconds. What's the point of it then? Sprint burst let's you get away, prayer beads lets spirit get grabs."

Have Prayer beads increase your terror radious and decrease your phase durration/speed such that without additional addons you don't move further than your terror radius when you phase.
Say for example Prayer beads makes your terror radius 32 meters and your phase movement speed is reduced to 160% (down from 176%). The total distance (6.4*5) is 32 meters meaning that you will hear the heartbeat in time to get to safety.
This means that in order to play gen grabber spirit you need to use additional perks and addons just to make up for the reduction in movement which makes it less practical (but still strong).
More importantly you can still use it for surprise attacks by using it to get closer to someone even when they are outside your terror radius, for example using it to get to someone on the edge of your TR would still benefit from prayer beads with this change.
And if you are using a gen grabber build with this then you would be giving up your strength in a chase if they manage to avoid the initial grab in one way or another.

IE: Instablind removal and BNP nerfs
I guess there is also keys but that's a fairly complicated issue (moreso than you would expect).

Also the simple solution to this is to make her footsteps audible during phase walk within something like 6m. That way if she comes up behind you to grab you will hear it and can stop the action, but if you're not paying attention she still grabs you. And even if you stop the action, she is close enough that it's still a free hit. This adds counter play to the grabbing without changing how PBB actually function in the grander scheme of things.

It allows spirit to be undetectable after crossing over 32 meters. It's not that big of a deal.

It doesn't need any downside, that's simply how it has been meant to be designed and implemented.
If you're having any prob. with that, then you should watch the environment more carefully. The grass, the plants, the crows, (...), all of those are indicators of her position.
Okay, let's rework it, but allow Rin to be able to walk through walls then.

The point is to catch survivors off guard. Especially immersed survivors who immediately hide hearing spirit Phasing sound.

revert the change made to it
originally it just lowered the phasing sound, but then they changed it so it removed the phasing sound entirely
maybe give it something else like increased phasing speed alongside it if that's not strong enough for a very rare addon

she doesn't actually move any of those things in her power
moreover, sometimes those things aren't around you (think generators in buildings) and her footsteps aren't audible enough to where you can react before she gets a free hit on you if not a grab
flaccid attempts to defend an obviously broken addon like these don't help your position

Also, any decent spirit will avoid crows, grass and corn if possible. If not possible: well hoping to be lucky that the survivor has turned his camera at the wrong moment, cuz he can't watch 360 degree at the same time.
If you don't see why this addon is busted I can't help you out. Even some killer mains like zubatlel and Scott admitted it's busted. And they know what they are talking about.

It's funny, killer is frustrating to alot of people at the high ranks yet alot of people will say nerf something about certain killers that make it less frustrating, it's just a funny observation. IMO i'd say things like this are a necessary evil to keep toxic swf from toying with killers with there insta heals, keys and dumb map rng.

Unfortunately, it's not really easy to determine when you're going to go up against an swf group. Though it would be amazing is the game had some kind of preset loadout that overrides whatever you put down when you end up against swf groups of different sizes. So I could say bring a mori every time it's against a 4 man swf group but not use moris in my other games if I don't want.

I'm playing solo 99% of all the time so your assumption doesn't affect. Furthermore, I would love some changes to insta heals, keys and moris. These are all frustating and overpowered things destroying the balance of a match.

I had supported this in the past, but after thinking about it this won't change a thing. In fact it would just make the problem worse.
I main Spirit and I'm currently sitting on something like 40+ Prayer Beads. At least 1 comes up every blood web, sometimes none, sometimes 2 or 3. But if you make it ultra rare then it would actually be even easier to stockpile them, as there are only 3 possible ultra rares that can appear in a killer's blood web (2 add-ons and ebony mori), not counting splinters. Considering that at least 1 ultra rare is in every blood web at p3 50 that means you have a 33.3% chance to get a specific item.

Yes, I do realize that, I do remember, when the screaming wasn't directional...
So? Avoiding all those stuffs takes a lot of time - If not around ten seconds, then more, which means around 1/5 or more of a single Generator is completed.
Even with those Gen. grabs, they're not sure, as they still haven't fixed the bug, when you grab the Survivor, but, instead, you're stuck in the animation - You can't move, you can't lunge or dart, nothing, for a few seconds, enough for the punished Survivor to escape free without even being injured.
Just because one Killer can grab you doesn't mean, that it's OP. I am surprised, how those kind of stealth Killers must be OP, because players have decided to completely forget about poem and a strategy, called stealth. Looping is meta, nothing else!
Imma say, nah! No way, stealth has a place there, and I don't want you to convince Developers to remove another way of the stealth way from the game. Simply, no. Looping is already hella repeatable, as it's kinda boring.. To run around one obstacle for a few seconds, then, if I miss, I am being punished by another few circles or rounds around one stupid box...
Just because somebody else claims this and this doesn't mean, that their opinions are valid. Being famous is one thing, but it definitely doesn't make your opinions valid, even if they'd be, in reality, invalid. You can't trust everything in this World, you have to form your own opinion...

To avoid those things to keep her undetected takes a lot of time, and if not full, then around 3/4 of her Power bar. That itself means a loss of twenty seconds per one usage, because by avoiding those things in her way, she has to waste her time.

It sounds to me, as if you were trying to tell me, that she's unable to move Pallets to the open areas, and God-knows, what else... Please, you'll have to elaborate or explain, what does that sentence of yours mean, if you want me to take it seriously, rather than a joke.
Obviously broken Add-on... Yikes. I don't even know, what else to reply... By being so entitled, that everything, which has no counters, or has really small, sometimes not available counters is OP... Well I don't use prayer beads because I like the speed/recovery add ons but I don't feel bad at all when I see people using. It's the same case of the Keys and Instaheal.

it actually reduced the distance you could hear it from, it wasn't that great but paired with Mother Daughter Ring, grabs were easy if you were quick enough

I just die on first hook if I'm against a prayer beads spirit who only wants grabs or catching people while they're healing, I'll not play that boring game (0 chases)

I get plenty of grabs as spirit without running beads. I'm only rank 12 so survivors may not know any better, but at higher ranks they should know how to play against spirit. It's not the beads.

See birds flying "randomly" or grass moving get off the gen.

Any killer that's strong at red rank needs to be nerfed, according to survivors pretty much. When will this stop? Killers deserve to have add-ons that make the game easier too, not just survivors. Your not gonna survive every match, get use to it! Every survivor already has an advantage over the killer that doesn't even require a perk or add-on. It's called chat and communication with each other.
