Dead by Daylight – Lamb to The Slaughter

New Killer – The Butcher

As a kid, Matthew Albright grew up working for his dad in a slaughterhouse. He and his friend Charlie worked their all their lives. Charlie never knew it, but Matthew's father hated him, every time something was done wrong, he would wait for Charlie to go home, and then beat Matthew bloody. He would pierce his son through the shoulder with one of the meathooks hanging around and sometimes leave it in depending on the punishment. One day, Matthew dropped a cleaver on his dad's foot, leaving a pretty bad cut. His foot was badly cut, and Matthew was taken to the attic, hanging off a hook.

Several days later, Charlie knocks on Matthew's door, asking where he was. The dad said he was busy, but Charlie knew better. Slowly scaling the side of the house, he breaks in through a window. He finds Matthew hanging off a meathook in the attic. He tries to free his friend, only for Matthew to fall off, the hook leaving a chunk permanently missing from his shoulder. Charlie tries to talk to his friend, but Matthew stays unresponsive, near catatonic. He slowly rips the hook from the ceiling, standing up and staring straight ahead, kicking down the attic door and lowering the ladder. He steps down slowly, Charlie begging him to come back. Charlie follows slowly before Matthew, seeing his father, throws the hook, impaling him through the arm. Matthew grabs the cleaver and starts slashing his dad into pieces.

He slowly turns to his friend. “Go, Charlie. Never come back.”

One day, finding himself in a strange place, a voice reassured him that killing was the right thing to do. As he comes face to face with his former friend in this realm, the large metal door behind Charlie opens. With no hesitation, The Butcher does what he does best…

Killer's Power - Matthew's Vengeance

The Butcher can throw his hook, attached to a chain, a short distance.

-If the hook hits a locker, after a strong pull, the locker will be ripped open, rendering it unusable and injuring a survivor by one health state.

-If the hook hits a dropped pallet, after a strong pull, the pallet is destroyed.

-If the hook hits a generator, after a strong pull, the generator will be damaged and start regressing.

-If the hook hits a vault point, The Butcher will pull themselves towards the point, quickly vaulting.

-If the hook hits a totem, the totem will be pulled to The Butcher, being able to be carried and placed anywhere. While carrying a totem, the hook is unusable. If the totem is a hex totem, the hex will be deactivated until the totem is placed and a 20 second timer has elapsed.

-If the hook hits a survivor, the survivor will be injured and given the hemorrhage status effect until healed.

-After the hook hits any target, the hook will be destroyed and be unusable, and a new hook must be acquired.

-Hooks can be acquired by sabotaging the Entity's hooks. (Secondary Action Button when near hook)

The Butcher Perks

I Don't Think So

When a Survivor is hooked, if they are rescued, there is a 30/40/50% chance that the rescue will fail. A failed rescue attempt will not drain the health of the hooked survivor, but will alert the killer.

Too Late

When the exit gates are powered, sacrifices are sped up by 5/10/15%.

Hex: Last Minute

While the Hex Totem stands, for every generator completed, gain .5/.75/1.5% movement speed.

New Survivor – Charlie Parker

Now grown up, Charlie has become a private investigator. Making enough to live on his own now, he devotes his freetime to finding a serial killer dubbed “The Butcher”. He grew up with this killer, watching his traumatic childhood reach it’s climax when the boy murdered his father. He went on, uncaring, killing anyone that got in the way of what he wanted.

After finally tracking his old friend down, the two meet face to face for the first time in years. Charlie stares at the killer.

“It's not to late to stop.”

“Stop what?”

“Killing all of these people!”

“This again? Look, I already told you that this is what I'm meant to do.”

“That’s bull and you know it!”

“I also recall telling you that if I saw you again, I'd kill you too.”

Charlie holds his arms out.

“Do it… Kill me. I've been there for you since the beginning, so if you can kill me then there is no saving you!”

The Butcher buries the hook into Charlie’s chest, but hesitates afterwards. He pulls the hook out slowly and gently, realizing what he had done.

It was too late though, the wound was made. Charlie clutches at The Butcher’s shirt, and with a dying breath… “I-It’s never too late… Matthew.”

One day, finding himself in a strange place, a voice reassured The Butcher that killing was the right thing to do. As he comes face to face with his former friend in this realm, the large metal door behind Charlie opens. With no hesitation, The Butcher does what he does best…

    Really cool idea and perks.

I would buff too late and Hex: Last minute as they seem a bit weak (eg save the best for last does a vastly larger speed buff and isn’t a risky hex) but still great killer and perk ideas. I would probably run never too late myself just to rob killer of their bbq stacks.
