Are really survivors just skins?
@not_Queen @Patricia @Peanits I have a crucial doubt. These days I decided to earn some survivor adept trophies, and upon reaching Jeff I noticed that his groans of pain are particularly pronounced: by pure chance we were in three of us to heal each other in Lery and it seemed like a gathering of brown bears in the process to give birth. XD It is also evident the different build of the various survivors (some are slim/short, others are fat/tall...).
If it is true that the survivors are only skins, should they not be distinguished only by the physical appearance and the timbre of the voice, and not also by the hitbox or volume of the sounds? Do you confirm that, at the programming level, these parameters are set to be absolutely the same for all survivors? Thanks in advance. :)

@xllxENIGMAxllx Different sounds or different sound volumes? Different bodies or different hitboxes?

Don't get me started on the Jane noises.
She doesn't sound like she's hurt when she's, well, hurt. It seems like... something else.

They all have the same hitbox, same MS while walking, running, vault speed....
yes they are just skins----->different sounds groans etc isnt going to change that when a character is in chase a Jane is going to perform better then a dwight...... female models are smaller then Male models that's about it

When hurt your groans are different for all characters some scream loud other less etc... same goes for breathing and size.
For those who don't understand the meaning let me explain.
If you take claudette she's small , his breathing and grunts are low which makes her sneakier than most characters. if you take Ash when hurt he scream so loud that's impossible for him to be sneaky except with iron will. Trust me he make a great different even bigger with stridor.

@xllxENIGMAxllx Yes, I had the same impression, so survivors are NOT skins: they are different for the purpose of the gameplay, aside perks...

@Entità Yes if you watch the video you can see their stats under their perks/names.

Yup it does tht why I said I feel weird playing her

The game is made in Unreal, and Unreal uses the same capsule collision box for every blueprint (or most likely in behaviours case) C++ class, so i doubt they would change the survivors hit box size and just change the mesh

To make the game fun for me, I give my survivors roles. For example: Everytime I play Claudette I use healing perks and items, I give David the bold and risky perks, Jane all the perks that reward you for certain tasks etc. It makes it feel more real to me.

They are just skins.
Different visual size make harder to hide or not and can fake killers that think they can hit ace from a bigger distance and feng min from a closer one.
Not a big difference given that once killer press the hit button they hit you anyway even from 3km away, while hiding in the closet in the basement of a Fortnite map.

Just listen to Jane's sounds with your eyes closed (・_・;)
It's awkward for my Family to walk into my room and they hear Jane moaning XD. I'm watching a Otz vid or something and my family can hear her moaning through my head set it's really awkward.
