Way to make SWFs more tolerable
Just give killers a 25% Boost per survivor in swfs. So killers have more incentive to not lobby dodge. so a maximum of 100% and a minimum of 50% blood point gains. @Peanits

Too much, as you aren’t considering the fact the game is actually not balanced for the killer vs 4 solo survivors. It’s definitely in favor of the killer in its current state. So certainly nothing extra for duos, as that actually makes the game pretty much balanced I would say. Even a 3 man is arguable if one is a potato. A 4 man is on paper a disadvantage to the killer obviously, , but then again if they are using a top tier killer like Nurse or Sprit with ruin/NOED and /or using busted addons and ebonies....should they be getting BP bonuses? Hell no. So how do you differentiate between the guy using Wraith as opposed to NOED omegablink Nurse? They both get 100% BP? Nope.

I think what they can do is atleast on red ranks with 3-4 SWF they can increase the time to repair gens ? or number of gens that needs to be fixed.

I think map offerings should go away so you dont get the 4 mans with BL picking haddonfield. Do something about insta heals and keys. (moris should go too, to balance it out along with nerfing omega blink nurse and prayer beads spirit i guess to compensate) After that it's up to the devs to make sure all maps dont have stupid safe loops or strong tiles conecting like cow loop into jungle gym and maps that arent so huge the average 115 or 110 killer with no mobility can put pressure on gens (ie Mothers Dwelling, Temple map) like the better killers (hag, nurse, spirit, billy). I think theres a lot of unraveling to the reason why organized swf are so hard to go against for most of the killers and its gonna take a few steps to get it right and obviously buff solos so they aren't so disadvantaged compared to swf.

People keep getting this wrong, they don’t need to nerf SWF, it’s not going anywhere. All they need to do is balance the game around optimal play.

A Optimal swf's group will destroy a Optimal killer so I can see what you are saying with this. just wish there was more than going against a swf's to only end up getting a 15k bp game at red ranks and I even play very well against them

The pip system for killers is really bad at rewarding killers.I'll never understand the reasoning why gatekeeper is dependent on if the survivors feel like doing gens or not.

Besides the buff solos -> buff killers that need it approach incentives like this is indeed most likely all the devs will do.
Punishing or trying to restrict SWF in any way is a lost cause. Casual players that just want to play with friends get a sour taste in their mouth, actual tryhard death squads just lobby dodge until they get eachother as "solos". Not to mention on console it's not hard to just make temp voice chats with random teammates you get.

That'd be awesome, but how does that have to do with balance?
It's like saying they'd make Survivors Exposed 24/7, but also give 5 times the amount of BP and say it's balanced now.

In this game, survivors can do gens in under 50 seconds and even if they dont manage to do a single generator they can still get hatch.
not to mention 80% survival rate at rank 1 survivors

truth, Been t it over 2 years now roughly and the game felt more balnced back then then it does now, seems like for every 1 thing added or fixed, 3 more get busted

Said it before: SWF would already be well on it's way to being balanced if the devs stuck to their guns.
They gave a rare outspoken design intent for the Pig originally: the purpose of the RBT was to get survivors to turn on each other, which is in line with the theme of Saw and is a much bigger blow to a premade group than it is to solo survivors. It was brilliant.
Then when it came to implementation, the devs did a practical U-turn: the timer is excessively generous, hardly anyone is ever at risk from a gen being completed while they are wearing the RBT. It should have been a very consequential thing, but it isn't.
Myers lost the ability to multi-stalk many survivors at once, when his original design intent was to punish surviors for ganging-up and messing around in full-view. The devs only restored his multi-stalk long after it was made obsolete by other changes.

Have you ever hit rank 1 killer and went against a organised swfs? They carry things like insta full heals a brand new parts. That is the situations that happen most of the time at high rank SWF play. The killer is not the power role enless he use's those killers. I don't like playing nurse or spirit. I like huntress. At most I run Berus Toxin add ons. no mori's. No insta downs. Enless that is I run into a swf.

slow repair speed by 3% for each person in YOUR group (solo survivors repair speed not impacted)

I don't know man, things like fast vaults when running along a wall were pretty ridiculous. decisive strike. the old flashlights were completely out of hand. etc.
