Gens

Is it me or does it seem like without ruin gens are popped within 2 min of the game? I’ve been leveling killers that haven’t gotten ruin in their bloodweb yet, my opinion is before I get the 2nd survivor even hooked it seems as 1 gen is left, something has to be done about how quickly they get done.

you need to learn to apply pressure to survivors. i played against u last night. you had a total of 1 hit, and 0 hooks by the time all the gens were done. do u really expect gens to be slow if you're doing so little as a killer?

It only takes 80 seconds minimum to pop a gen. Losing two or three during the first chase is standard, especially without Ruin.

So each Survivor takes 3 downs without Moris, assuming the hook has no obstacles, and for the first hook of the first Survivor, it takes 3 gens, and camping is bad so they're getting unhooked, so for the second down it'd take another 3 gens' time, meaning 2 gens and the door, so a Killer should expect to get 1 kill a game, assuming they camp the second time or nobody retrieves the martyr?

Or are all pallets exhausted for the second chase, so we can assume it takes 3 gens for the first, 2 for the second, and if you have NOED you may get a second down whether or not they take the time to cleanse it, so if both of those downs are abandoned you get the 2 kills the devs consider balanced?

Honestly, people get too tied up with the "1/2" gens done by the time someone is hooked.

this is literally where the game starts snowballing for a killer, I've had no end of killer games have 2 gens pop and then no more pop because I've caught survivor going for saves which forces other survivors off gens too.

Don't get so hung up on gens being done.
