CASUAL MODES
Of course KYF exists. But it isn't rewarding to play it. So perhaps why not add a new way to play? The average 1v4 but with no rank attached. You'd only be able to enter Casual Play if your rank is above 10/13.
COMPETITIVE RULES
A new competitive option would be available. But all perks are disabled for both survivor and killer. As you climb the ranks the challenge increases, slower gen progress or more required gens for survivors. The challenge wouldn't be one sided as Killers would have fewer hooks spawned into the map. Again, no perks for either side so no DS or SC and items would only be able to be accessed through chests.

I would love to play a barebones version of the game, but survivors love their perks too much so it would be practically dead.1

What about being able to use only one perk then? The Devs would be able to analyse the perks that are overused in the competitive mode and then be able to see which ones are the most powerful survivor perks. Plus Killer perks too, though I think the Devs know that BBQ + Chilli and Ruin are the meta... That would defeat the purpose having a casual mode. If no rank is attached then anyone should be able to play it,just like any other game where there’s a ranked mode and a regular oneJammyJewels said:

I don't see why SWF isn't removed. It's a huge hindrance to constantly remake the group and it causes a major disadvantage to the killer. Not to mention ruining the experiences of the solo players.Lowbei said:

I think it's because it's too easy to pip, at the moment... Rank 5 reached yet I don't know half the stuff of a high ranked player. Hell, I'm pretty sure I still get caught by BBQ + Chilli (despite crouching behind a gen.) Yea ppl have been wanting this for awhile. Casual should be when you wanna have fun with crazy perk builds and add-ons and Rank should be a mode where you go in as killer or survivor with no perks or add-ons. It's so simple to make that the Devs won't even bother creating it. Also at the end of every season for Rank... There should be rewards for making it to certain ranks0

swf is the biggest draw to this game. take it away and you can go ahead an uninstall to free up space.... they need 4 happy ppl and 1 person thats not quite mad enough to quit.... thats just how it is....

From rank 9-1, during the times I play and especially after rank reset, I can wait a LONG time for a game. Even then, it might be against the same survivors with their same perk loadout and playstyle or redping survivors that complain about lag (from me too!!!). I'd rather just have a regular game with different players than a new mode that would make it that much harder to find.

I don't see why SWF isn't removed. It's a huge hindrance to constantly remake the group and it causes a major disadvantage to the killer. Not to mention ruining the experiences of the solo players.
If the devs remove it, it might kill the game. I agree that it's overpowered, but I don't think it's going to be removed.

The only good swf does is more sales of dlc and cosmetics for already hooked survs. SWF does more harm than good. Look at the state of the forums. Nothing but bitching about swf and swf crews defending it so they can keep cheating.

Raised game sales
Raised dlc sales
Gives a better experience for those in the swf
Will cause more cosmetics to be sold
On PC groups who have good experiences with swf may be more likely to buy Death Garden
People hate swf and complain about it but it brings in money. Swf will get bhvr more money than a balanced game where swf doesn’t exist and at the end of the day money is more important than a balanced game. People need to just get over it tbh it’s been in the game since 2016 and it’s not leaving. Also these forums do not represent how much of the playerbase want swf gone and it also doesn’t represent how much want it to stay

This game is WANNABE competitive. So far it's a rather casual/meme game.
Going in the right direction tho, but it will take a good amount of time before it reaches the point you can call this game competitive.1 -
