Survivor objective is easy

Maybe its just DBD burn out rearing its head again but I'm noticing survivors have it so easy objective wise and I blame the devs for this issue. Its 2019 and you still got survivors doing gens because you can't come up with a logical way to extend the game long enough to do anything. Don't the devs have any idea how frustrating it is for a killer to be on the clock as soon as the match starts because survivors simply apply pressure by doing gens fast. As many killer perks show survivors have got the objective down and bhvr seemingly refuses to evolve the objective beyond doing boring gens and getting looped and hit by pieces of wood...no holiday events don't count because they have been poorly designed or painful to grind. Like maybe give survivors something more to do besides doing gens to win? maybe change how gens are activated? something needs to change because its very frustrating having to be at the mercy of basically holding one button to get the objective done...and that objective is minimalist and primitive to be honest in the gaming landscape of today...wait didn't devs say gen times were fine when looking at their questionable stats? but I don't think bhvr understands "power" role beyond "fun" whatever that means as it changes from person to person....its a horror game make it scary again...rant over

    And how are you supposed to do that? ruin is a joke and don't even talk to me about applying pressure the devs game them enough perks that pressure means little. But again DBD is a primitive game with a ok skin over it

    xD I'm just annoyed that the devs haven't had the guts to evolve the objective beyond do gens...run around throw wood on killer...do gen....run loop....throw wood...the killers greatest threat is wood....

    Don't get me wrong, i think survivors should have more objectives to complete in order to escape. Thing is that many other things should be reworked too... And personally i can't imagine BHVR doing all that xD

    Try to have one guy slugged and another in chase always, this way 2-4 survivors will be disabled.

    That only really works if you can down the second guy within seconds after you leave the first guy slugged because otherwise the 2nd survivor will just loop you and by the time you get him, the 1st survivor is already healed and doing generators.

    The only time where it’s fun to play as survivor is during events because we have secondary objectives. Otherwise it’s the killer power that make the match fun.


    Weak killers = Boring match. This is why I don’t like going against the nurse on console. It is very rare to go against a good nurse on console.

    I think a good and fun idea is to find batteries and install them for the gens before working on them to make it more exciting. However this would take longer to complete the objective and I want to see more pallets, but not ones like killer shack, actual mindgamable pallets. Just something different and exciting. I also think each map having a different challenging objective would be cool instead of gens personally

    Yeah, it would be cool if each map had something different for the objective. I like the idea of having to find a battery first for gens. But then it would make sense to lower time for gens. Or, make the battery optional, and it auto fills a section of the Gen with a battery limit per Gen.

    How abouttttt. Get good and stop complaining. Killer's are 'op' at lower ranks because there is less basic skill involved for them, hitting survivors. As it is difficult for lower survivors to learn how to escape a chase and how to get successful skill checks etc. However once you get into the high rank (most) killers are only able to reach a certain threshold of skill if you will. In comparison there is a lot more to learn as a survivor and thus once mastered then becomes the 'op' selection. Just annoys me that BHVR are more lenient towards and only towards the higher ranks

    This completely voids killers who aren't Nurse, Billy, or Spirit. The game really should have second objectives or longer gen times. Hate having too run ruin or PGTW on any non viable killer because otherwise you get gen rushed. Even with the devs trying too fix it by giving totems emblem progression, it doesn't affect the emblem, so no one does it.

    How is it possible for any M1 killer too make a match difficult when they have a diet of pallets? This advice only works on Billy, Nurse, and Spirit, and everyone is tired of playing/fighting them.

    No, works for all killers. Some might have it a bit more difficult than others, but that's it.

    And please guys, stop naming those 3 killers in every post. There are other perfectly viable killers too, like the hag.

    @BunnyTheHutt I can do it with LF. A second objective would be nice since just holding m1 gets boring, I don’t know why they haven’t added one since both sides want it.

    Survivors objective is boring AF too... along with easy.... the game as whole needs more... its empty!!...the game has endless of opportunities and they choose to make it to where you can just hop on the main objective right away... like they could have made specific objectives for each realm or map.....

    I actually thought about that some time ago, different objectives for each map would be awesome.

    This game desperately needs that and/or new game modes.

    You have no idea how much I want new game modes or objectives :( but BHVR refuses to evolve with the times it seems like and is still stuck with a crazy easy,boring M1 objective. Didn't Cote say Gen times where fine once or they weren't gonna mess with them because some BS reason?

    A second ( or alternate) objective could be destroying the hooks. Do some three stage thing (like with being hooked) and then the endgame would be taking down the basement hooks. Survivor win by making the entity angry at the killer..


    Tbh I'm not sure that would be a massive rework either
