Has anyone found a good use for boil over yet.

Every time I pick someone up with boil over it really isn't that much of a bother honestly, has someone found a crafty use for it yet?
The only thing I could see it being useful for is massive displacement during hook blocking, but the "hook suction" is so plentiful honestly it doesn't really matter.
Maybe it'll be better when paired the nerfed version of ds.

With DS if you're not the obsession. Them colliding into objects allow you more time to get that DS off.

After that, nope. It's pretty much another useless perk to go into the same bin as Deju Vu, This Is Not Happening, Resilence, etc.

I tried it out with a sabo build. Didn't work that well.

I guess you can try it with Decisive Strike, but why? I'd rather run DS on its own to save up more perk slots.

I feel like Boil Over would be useful if it slowed the movement speed of the killer while carrying you as a counter towards Agi and generally the hooks that are 1m from each other anyways.

Yep, Boil over has potential, but it's surely not so good

It's saved me from a basement hook before, since the killer wasn't sure if the basement was in the killer shack and didn't want to waste time. Other than that I unfortunatley do not run it often. Maps like Springfield, Haddonfield, and The Game are not half bad to pair with Boil Over, since the clutter can work in your favor and catch the killer on a box/bush/etc. It's a good idea but it just feels like it's missing something? I don't know.

The perk is good for both you and the killer since it shows both of you a little horsey icon.

IMHO, this perk needs a buff to struggle speed.

I'd say somewhere like 8%/ 12% would make it worthwhile and good to use

I actually had someone use tier 1 to good effect. I caught him near my basement (shack) but there was one coming to help. I picked him up and tried to get through the door and TWICE he forced me to hit the door frame, enough time for the Jake to run up and body block, plus I saw a second one coming. I decided at that point I had to go to another hook and saw one on the next tile by the hill. I got SOOOOOO close, if I didn't attempt to go for the basement I would have easily got it. But her Boiled Over totally saved her by stalling me just enough for her team to force me to another hook.

They all still died at by the end. But it was one time BO was actually useful for someone. As survivor it never seems to help me though :(

It saves me from basement hooks all the time. I love using in on aggro builds because it can waste time and provides more opportunities for teammates to help. It’s not going to work most of the time but it is hilarious to see killers jerk from side to side. PS open handed, kindred, and boil over is quite nice
