Movement speed?

WTH is the survivor base movement speed? Like, I know Killers range in move speed? Are some survivors move speed quicker? I swear I had a match with a David that moved quick as hell....I could not catch him in the open even when bloodlust procced?

He might have been using sprint burst.

How many times can they use that? Doesn't it have a cooldown? Cause my god, I wasted a few minutes on him. He was my last one that I hadn't hooked yet. My own fault for tunneling, but it doesn't seem right that I couldn't catch him?

If it was by the end of the round with all the gens powered it may have been the perk hope which grants 7% movement speed for 120 seconds.

    Otherwise cheating

Base survivor running speed is 4.0 meters per second.

With Sprint Burst, that's 6.0 meters per second for a duration of 3 seconds.

Default killer speed is 4.6 meters per second, or 4.4 for slower killers like Hag or Huntress.

THis was at the beginning and towards the end. I just couldn't fathom it? I mean dewd was bookin. Even after I hit bloodlust, he wasn't even looping me just full out running across the map?

This is what I thought! I can't think of what it was, unless it was some sort of haxxor.

Yeah, sounds like they were cheating. I think a new tool came out recently, because I've been seeing a few players like this. Hopefully they squash it soon, since a full squad of people using it kinda ruins things. Also had a survivor pop someone up from downed to fully healed right after I hit them, without a med kit or anything.

It's like? Why even play? How could that be satisfying to cheat? Boggles my mind. I wonder if they actually ban people for that? I have reported a few people for very toxic/racist language. Not sure if it does any good.
