Why is Huntress getting nerfed?

So I know the nerf is to her add-ons rather than her directly but I have to ask, why?
I understand that machine gun hatchets is considered really annoying with tinkerer but first of all, tinkerer is getting changed so she will lose the bonus to that and second, she is getting her hatchet speed add-ons nerfed which is a further nerf to her.

I personally have not met 1 person who said " God the Huntress is in serious need of a nerf, she's more powerful than Nurse "
This is because Huntress has many downsides to her already, so adding more is just unnecessary.

An odd, and more importantly, UNNEEDED nerf to her IMO.

    good luck ever getting a hit on anyone in the game or lerys without time reducers... i tried it yesterday and they always made it to a corner by the time the hatchet wound up.

    She's definitely going to hurt from these nerfs. I can't wrap my head around why they'd nerf her addons, if she's already getting a nerf from the tinkerer change. If anything buff her addons. We shouldn;t be nerfing killers but buffing them.

    EXACTLY. I was trying her yesterday without her wind up add-ons because of this very nerf and my god it feels bad. I am 100% against these nerfs
