Casual & Ranked mode

Hi

I have plenty of hours in the game and there is only one thing that burns me out, no variety. I like to play with uncommon builds and just have fun with the game, relaxed and casual gameplay.

However by doing this i still reach red ranks and here's where my personal issue starts appearing, when i get the same 3 killers for 90% of the time, the game starts losing it's appeal. It has so much content but so little of it is being used. I personally believe the main reason is the competitive aspect, i can't blame anyone for going all out and achieving the best result, i just miss the random aspect and not knowing what to expect each game. In most games you see the same perks coming back (for both survivor and killer), which is ok if you want to achieve the best results and rank up but if you are in between just playing casually, it gets very stale.

I don't care about ranks so i was curious if there could be an unranked mode, you can still earn bloodpoints and shards but there simply isn't a rank. I do realise that you might get teamed up with new survivors or killers but that shouldn't matter too much in a casual mode.

Any thoughts about this? Will it harm the game or is it a positive thing to add? All has its ups and downs, i'd just love the game to be a bit more relaxed and to see more variety in gameplay.

It's a pretty good idea. The first problem with making another mode that came to my mind is that the queue time will drastically increase. Queue with Killers already takes a decent amount, and with people splitting into two camps, it will get even worse.

Still, the idea sounds awesome. The Survivors who keep complaining about "try-hard" Killers will just move to Casual where everyone is having fun. The Devs will be able to focus on listening to the ideas of the Survivors and Killers who stayed in Ranked and play competitively. I believe that it will be great for the game.

Plus, it's casual. It would be fun to see a mix of pro survivors running the killer around and noob survivors potatoeing around the map, this would be more lore accurate :D

I'd like a new mode where everything is randomized. Random killer chosen for you. Random perks assigned. Random survivor skin and perks provided. A bunch of other wacky stuff. Idk maybe killers are given another killers main ability. Movement speed be damned! Would make for some interesting youtube material.
