How do survivors reach the red and purple ranks...
And not recognize when a killer has bbq and chili? It perplexes me every time how these high rank players are oblivious to the OBVIOUS signs, no matter how many times they or someone else gets immediately found as soon as the killer hooks someone. Right to the end when they are on death hook. Still don't have a clue. Either that, or they do know and don't care. I don't know which is worse.
Its one of my biggest irritations playing survivor, and wonder why when I play killer I never get dolts like that in my lobby. Most wise up and start hopping in lockers or stay within range.

Some people don’t care about the killer having BBQ, they have other priorities.
If im on a gen and I don’t mind being chased, I will commit to the gen. Unless you mean the ones that crouch and hide while BBQ is revealing their location.

Right. Then you're wasting time not only having to leave your gen to hide in a locker, but then you need to go and save their worthless hides.

I see plenty of survivors trying to be sneaky and crouching behind a box or something when BBQ reveals their aura. Typically, if i know their just hiding behind a bush when Im 41 meters away...Theyre probably still gonna be standing still behind the same bush until im ontop of them.

Some people don't care about BBQ.
Also, BBQ is intented as an incentive for the killer not to camp. If you don't hide your aura, you motivate the killer to leave the hook, which is a good thing in the majority of cases.
