Why can't hooked survivors get hit? Now they are hollow?
Before we used to hit or punish the survivors we hung on the hook with some blows, now you can't!

I see this in kyf

Does that mean that now when someone unhooks someone else infront of my face, I will no longer accidently hit the already hooked survivor? That sounds like a good quality of life change to me.

Maybe don't bm?

So, t-bagging, or clicking your flashlight 20 times a second is not BMing?
Or how about spamming loud noise notifications by repeatly doing a rushed action? A killer litterally cant ignore that, unless they turn off their sound completely.

pls revert the change @Peanits This was like a warning to the survivors, the main killers will know what I'm talking about. We hit him on the hook 1 or 2 times so that they were not toxic in the game.

It also removes the ability to play around a face camper. If they hit the hooked person out of rage/spite, you have a window to save them. Now that's gone?
Campers will only camp more now.

@Carpemortum Is this really how it is atm? If I throw a hatchet at a hook, will it go through the survivor on the hook to hit the guy on the other side?

This devolved so quickly...

Wouldn't that be a good thing? Now when a Survivor goes for a save near you, you'll be able to hit the unhooker instead of the hooked Survivor.

or does it work like old Freddy and you swing at the one who is not able to be hit versus the one in the dreamworld you chasing? (OG Freddy)
I cant log in to test, can we get some confirmation? anyone playing?

But this is good! If someone tries to save the second you hook someone you wont have to recover from hitting the hooked survivor if you hit him by accident

it may also address a tactic used by good survivors, they unhook/fake and run through the person and you werent able to hit them because youd hit the guy on hook instead.
confirm?

I feel like they should bring it back if it's really gone. It was the only counterplay to asscamping besides BT.

Being toxic to warn them not to be toxic. I mean, it really only inspires them to be as toxic as they can to you if you're being toxic to them.

If they actually removed collision it's a good change.
So many times the monkey in-your-face unhooker got away because the hit collided with the i-frames unhooked guy.

Oh so you're a two wrongs make a right person.

As a killer i got mixed feeling about this, on one hand i can stop saves and end game hook rushes easier but on the other survivors will suffer more when trying to do saves against campers and just saves in general. imo i dont think it was actually necessary to implement and was better when survivors were hit-able

Not tested it yet, but I say a 60% chance that when I do, it will still 'hit' for the killer the way melee auto-target works so that you miss the person you meant to go for, but now without a 'hit' happening in the game.
Devs are gonna dev.

I'm pretty sure what you're describing is a version-exclusive glitch. I was playing on PS4 a few minutes ago and the killer hit me on the hook. It wasn't in the patch notes, so it's just a glitch for you guys.

Why do you assume I think that's acceptable? Just because I don't think a killer should bm means I'm a toxic survivor main? I play both sides equally and think that both sides of the community have an alarming number of toxic players in them and despise the kind of behaviour they show.
