is overcharge in good state

so before endgame collapse overcharge was alright i guess on last person needing to do gens , but now with not even need of repairing gens as last person ,,now this perk in numbers seems to me meh , it gives only 5 % regression ,, and its not even hard to mess up ,, and you can only use it onl kicked gens ,

to compare pgtw give 25 % guaranteed regression and if you are playing decent killer character you will use it like 4 or more times ,,


i know this perk is kinda okay with few perks combines but then again u waste like 3 slot perks and after your hex lullaby or ruin goes down u are like 2 perks down because overcharge will do nothing

    That 5% regression is on top of the normal regression from failing a skillcheck, which im pretty sure is 10%.

    Overcharge was never a very good perk. It's dependent on survivors being bad at skill checks, and high level survivors are not bad at skill checks. The only time I even remotely have trouble hitting OC skill check is when Unnerving Presence is also active. Even then it's still pretty easy to hit.

    PGTW is the superior gen-kick perk. It regresses the gen 25%, or 20s at base, which is a huge blow to survivors. IMO it's better and more reliable than Ruin, it just requires way more skill because you need to both catch survivors quickly and know what gens need kicking.

    I've always disliked killer perks that depend on the skill of survivors to a large degree.

    Overcharge, Dark Devotion, Discordance, Iron Maiden and all Hexes are ones that come to mind.

    Perks that rely on the user's skill are much better.

    But no, a perk is not in a good state if it depends on your opponent's skill rather than your own.
