Suggestion to buff Plague

The best way to counter The Plague is by completely ignoring the intended counter mechanics (AKA: not cleansing) which forces the plague to only using her M1 to down survivors. Yes, the survivors will need only 1 hit to be downed, but good survivors are able to run her for a very long time and she literally has no accsses to half her kit and doesn't even use her power afterwards, making for a very boring killer to play and basicaly a slightly better legion.

So I had an idea to solve this issue: Once survivors become broken, a second infection timer with the same duration as the first is activated. (as a more advanced stage of the disease) Once that timer ends, the survivor is downed. (this timer would be reseted every time the survivor is healed from the dying state or saved from a hook) This would make cleansing a necessity and not a hindrance to your own team.

What do you guys think?

idk seems kinda similar to deep wound, however an action speed penalty would be amazing, like 15% or something cuz idk about you but i ain't really in the mood to repair generators while i'm vomiting my breakfast. or force medium vaults when fully sick to help reduce chase times.. anything goes

What do I think? I think your idea would increase the DC rate against Plague substantially.

They choose to no cleanse because giving the Plague the machine gun vomit is a more dangerous option.

Instead of forcing survivors to cleanse and thus contribute to their more speedy demise - perhaps make being sick slightly more debilitating while at the same time making the machine gun vomit less of an 'I win' for the Plague.

What you are proposing is a damned if you do, damned if you don't and that will not fly well.

A debuff to action and repair speed is the way to go imo

hell no downing survivors without ever hiting them is not the way to go and imo shes fine unless youre bad at mindgaming loops or whatever because stealth is removed when sick

You can’t force cleansing without nerfing corrupt purge, that’s a fact. Remember when people used to say that the fountains healing was OP? They were dead wrong. Not even full health is worth giving Plague that power.

The only thing they can really do, is some sort of sickness penalty such as to repair speed, but at the same time nerfing the red puke. This would allow her to use it more, but it just won’t be as ridiculously strong.

I think a simple solution would make her Black Incense basekit, keep the penalties too because they're massive and of course weaker. This way she always has a chance to use her power.
